I used the Verus to test for bad fuel pumps as shown above. My fuse buddy have not arrive yet so I have to make my own. The method above works great to get good evidence for a bad fuel pump. Thanks again for the video guys.
First off, I love your channel....I watch all of your videos. VERY informative. I was wondering if you recommend the ESI-695 low amp probe you use in this video or is there another you've changed to? Is it pretty accurate even at low amps? I'm trying to decide on one and like that the ESI unit can clamp over battery cables with it's jaw size. Please share info that you can. Thanks!
question: on some gm vehicles that have a fuse going to the injectors as well as the fuel pump would you then hook your fuse jumper to the relay instead ? sometimes the fuse is labeled f/p inj
I said that because all you gonna see in the scope is voltage ripple or spike if any loose connection or worn brush. Current gives a better idea of output if the pressure correspond to electrical load.
