Well, He better pull something from his rear pretty quick, Election not far off, He can't run The Cost Of Living and Lower Elect Bills again, I doubt he will get away with that one again.
My entire life 77 yrs i have NEVER experianced an honest Labor Government LNP may not be perfect but certinatly miles ahead of the distructive Labor Grerns Teals. In Qld i am voting for One Nation with preference to LNP only. Readon I want change but dont think LNP have the balls to be agressive enough to stop the aborigine elites land grads etc and weak on the peoples freedom protection. Federally its all LNP for me One Nation for the Senate.
@@jeanettepaetzold6076You are entitled to your opinion but tell me why I should believe you. I don't agree with you because this government has kept many promises. Eg it held the referendum - it didn't promise the referendum would pass. It accepted the will of the people. It has delivered budget surpluses. I could give many more reasons for my opinion, including 20 more kept promises. (There are many more I could google) I don't agree with its subsidies to fossil fuel industries. I don't like the failure to collect royalties for our gas. But it has been introducing legislation continuously unlike the previous government that did not introduce an ICAC as promised and did not have an energy policy as promised and did not pass a freedom of religion bill as promised. Not the worst government ever then.
If Albonese promised that he'll send Australia broke and every one with it, that would be the only one he would keep, wish he would say it so that we would know what he's up to
You have to take Albos promises with a pinch of salt, if he honours any of his promises then you’re lucky but his track record shows he doesn’t honour any promise and can’t stop himself telling lies to the Australian people. Albo only cares for himself and his mates
@@Martinoconnor-du6lc He has done lots to reduce cost of living but it obviously hasn't worked. We don't know the effect of those initiatives. Personally, I don't have to pay a gap at the GP, I am bulk billed again. My prescriptions are cheaper, I get 2 months worth for the price of 1 months. My granddaughter's childcare fees reduced. My cousin's son has a free place at TAFE. Many workers got a meaningful pay rise. I buy Woolworths own brand crumbed fish. It went up to $13 kg. Now it is $10 kg. On July 1st a number of new initiatives came into effect including tax cuts and freezing of PBS medicine costs. Lowly paid workers got a pay rise. There has not been time to evaluate the success of these measures and others that I can't remember just now. The government has and is acting I hope it is successful.
As a young bloke, i was always taught Labor was the party for the working people , that party disappeared long , long ago, Labor is now the party for its own gain, and Labor has proved with its dirty tricks division, they will say and do anything to stay in power. Does anyone remember when labors dirty tricks divion sent renta protestors after Tony Abott , and julia gollard got caught up in the crush and tony Abbott had to rescue her😊. That one backfired😊. Labor if you are old and have been around long enough and seen their policys is guilty of taking us down a path that has lowered our living standards and weakened the country , previous Libs also where guilty of being accomplices. As a voter i want to see Albanese out . Id give either Pauline Hanson or Dutton a shot , Pauline is a patriot and speaks from the heart even if it gets her onto trouble sometimes. Dutton was a copper , he's worked for a living in the trenches so to speak unlike a huge percentage of the career politicians like Albanese . To quote an old Labor politicians slogan " its time ", bring on the election.
@@mikldude9376 I remember Tony Abbott promising no cuts to Education, health and the ABC and his budget of 2014 cut Education, Health and the ABC. Joe Hockey and Mathias Cormann celebrated breaking their promises with a cigar in the gardens of Parliament House. Circumstances change and it may not be wise to keep a promise. It is naive to expect every promise to be kept. Labor has kept most of its promises and I think most people would appreciate a tax reduction they weren't expecting. A better question may be "Did the government make promises it did not intend to keep?" Compare the Abbott promises and the Labor tax promise. Were Abbot's promises in the party platform? My recollection is that the coalition platform consisted of motherhood statements. I look at all party platforms and candidate manifestos before I vote. Labor's platform reflected its tax promise and a process for changing the platform and the promise was worked through according to Labor rules. A Labor leader cannot make a unilateral decision to change the platform/promise. Coalition leaders have more power for good (Howard's gun control) and power for bad (Morrison's assumption of cabinet positions without the knowledge of his party.)
@@Martinoconnor-du6lc I do not have unerring faith in Australian perfection. Especially ,when watching Sky News which delights in denigrating anyone who does not parrot their Russian propaganda.
Wasted money on referendum, wasted money on 2 new planes to toto , he thinks he is the wizard of Oz , thinks if we follow his yellow brick road , just have to click your heals 3 times and a house will magically appear , there's no place like home , unless your homeless
The sad thing is sending people here when no one can afford to live here, the local people are screwed, but he gave himself a pay rise and kicked out his renter, this guy is going to cause Australia so harm, thank god for a 3year term
Albo has a dream of a better life (for himself and his colognes) and wants to make Australia a great place (to exploit). misinformation needs to be stopped (except his) so all Australians (aboriginal or immigrants only) can prosper
Migrants from lower socio economic backgrounds wont have a problem with our housing crisis , theyre used to making do and improvising and the goverment provides assistance . Its people who grew up here and now cant afford to live here that will suffer the most .
@@steveone yeah I've moved to Indonesia, $900 a year for my two bedroom house to rent fuel$1 per litre, your not allowed to buy a house in Indonesia , this is because they look after there people, i cant survive in Australia simple
Have a look overseas with their immigration intake. They are now have lots of problems with them. Same will happen here soon. Especially if they start to get into parliament. Just look at that thing from WA
My cousin in Finland pays 13.39 cents per KWH where they have around 40% nuclear power mix. My bill is 44.418 cents per KWR. Where is the cheap renewable power in Australia
Countries, where Nuclear power presides, pay less than half of what Australians pay France in which nuclear provides nearly 70% of energy requirements pays A$49 per megawatt hour to Australia's $105 per megawatt hour Under the Labor plan, Solar will increase prices by 40% and wind by 15% Labor is attempting to run the Nation on 90% renewables without baseload stations when the sun doesn't shine and the wind doesn't blow, it will be a train wreck
AGL in Sth Aust promote me using less power at peak times . They promise reduced power prices if i dont use it when i most need it ............. What is that telling you about renewables ?
As an Australian I have always tried to be apolitical, not taking sides but then again maybe not taking much interest in politics. Unfortunately, as shown by many of the comments on here, we as Australians must choose next election between idealistic socialist nut jobs or anybody else who could not possibly mess up as badly as these people who are destroying all out traditions & economy for all to see & nobody can deny. Labor is a dud party with dud people in it & needs to go.
@@ianpickett8420 July 1st income tax was cut by federal government. They (whoever that is) may or may not have increased prices. How am I supposed to know who you are talking about? The federal government does not increase supermarket prices, if that is who you mean. The business owners do that.
@@Martinoconnor-du6lc see that’s what’s wrong with sky news views is one sided. Has the labor government done a great job tackling inflation, not really. But would be better in this position if scomo didn’t hand out so much money during Covid. What happened to Labor spends and Liberals save. They were in power for 10 years and were almost a trillion in debt 🤷🏻♂️
Albo’s problem is his lack of any analytical skill, so he says “yes” to every crooked story put to him. He cannot say “No” because he doesn’t understand the story.
