Look into solar panels They all but replace your Gen. We mounted panels a few years ago and have never looked back Other than a cloudy raining day you never need to start your Gen.
I'm glad your enjoying your long weekend, We usually anchor out around 30 weekends a year, but this year we have been to busy to do much boating, but next weekend we're heading out for 2 weeks cruising between the Gold Coast and Brisbane ( Queensland, Australia) keep the videos and updates coming mate
I am really enjoying your videos. I was in TV news for many years until moving into a corporate gig. AND...I am looking at a 1979 Chris Craft Corinthian this coming weekend!
I purchased a 4.5 kw inverter generator and used the shore cable to give me 120 volt power for the boat. It runs 10 hours on 2 gallons of gas. It runs my AC and all appliances. Costs less than $1000 on Amazon. Glad to see Jacksonviille boating on RU-vid. We are in Doctors lake. Boat almost every weekend.
So great you are enjoying your time on the water! This is the payoff for your work that you have done to make this happen. Enjoy the rest of your time out there, you have earned it!
Come on down to Astor you can jump on my boat and I'll take you even further south to see old Florida... the St. John's has so much beauty down this way
Great to see you out on the water enjoying the freedom. Do you also follow a RU-vid channel called Ship Happens? When you did I live stream I mentioned them to you and I think you wrote the name down. I've recently been helping them out restoring there World War 2 boat, hard grafting but great fun with plenty cups of tea.
