Thank you! ❤️ definitely, I think after trying to “plan” what I wanted etc, it all went so fast and I felt like I didn’t have a say (for good reason, medically, but still) but so happy it was all fine in the end 💖
Thank you for sharing your story. Yes, the doctors and nurses are there to do their job but they should also respect you as the birthing mother. It seems very disrespectful of them to speak over you and to not attend to your comforts. Of course your baby's wellbeing is important but so is your own. I wish you all the best in your recovery and in your motherhood journey x
Thank you so much! Yes, I agree, they were more worried about the medical side than the personal side and sometimes I get it as their jobs could be on the line etc, but as a patient I also see the other side

Hi Lucia! Thank you so much for sharing your story! Glad that it ended up fine and now you and your baby are healthy 🙏 Just a question, maybe I didn't get it or you prefer not to say (that is absolutely fine) but what was the reason for the baby hearth rate to be high? The umbelical cord?
Thanks so much! 😊 They suspected the umbilical cord was around his neck, however they didn’t write anything on the maternity notes so not 100% sure, but my husband does seem to remember them saying “cord around the neck” when he was born
