I got my first pair of Grange in 1978, and in those days, when they were made in Wisconsin, they were indeed tough boots that lasted a long time. Since LaCrosse moved to China, not so much. I was very disappointed with the last two pairs I bought. I also just assumed that those heels were solid rubber. Maybe that was once true, but not anymore! They are now hollow! If you wear enough rubber off, you'll see. It's really a shame, because at one time Grange was the most comfortable warm-weather boot out there. I could walk for miles and not feel like I was clomping along in rubber boots.
I just seen this video today and im sorry but these lacrosse rubverboots are the best after 6 years after my outdoor and other fun abuse it dont matter ,I will buy them over again or maybe buy used,,,great lacrosse rubberboots.. very well made...
Just came on here to see if someone had a review for them, and just bought myself a pair on LaCrosse website. Already have the ZXT chest waders and economy waders. Felt like a win situation. Can't wait to try them out, thanks for the positive video! (btw, local to your area, great weather this morning. ha!)
They’ve held up good for me over the years! I have punctured them or had them dry rot after years of use, but they are inexpensive and patch easily. I hope this helps!
