@@Carter-wm7cbthe top pro lacrosse players can shoot upwards of 100-110 and they shoot from much closer than a pitch comes and they have a larger area to aim for. Goalie in lacrosse is harder than baseball and every other lacrosse position takes a beating unlike baseball. You guys are soft

That guy's form sucked on his shots. I've never tried to throw a baseball with any of my sticks, but I'd say he is probably correct about the seam catching in the shooting strings and having it release funny from the stick. Hopefully he was trying to be conservative with his shot because if the uncertainty of the release and he doesn't normally shoot like that. Having said that, Sim needs to get a laxtuber who plays/played in college and can but some velocity and accuracy on his shot. @MitchellPehlke come help Sim out.

I've been a lacrosse goalie for a while so watching him scared af of all the angles and deliveries coming right at him was very vindicating. It's scary. I'm truly mentally ill for doing this for so long. My favorite position in sports. I hate it.

As a lifelong baseball player/fan...Ive always felt a little bit of a kinship with lacrosse. They share a common physical connection of power combined with hand-eye coordination and quick thinking to be successful. Baseball gets a little shit for having alot of downtime..But when a ball is in play displays a high level of athleticism, strength and mental focus to rival any sport. Baseball and lacrosse are both extremely underrated as sports that have exceptional athletes.

c'mon man. There's virtually nothing similar between the two sports. Never mind that most baseball players wouldn't make 10 minutes into a game. Its a physical, contact sport. Its played on concrete. It requires both endurance and speed. It requires multiple skills to pass and catch a ball with a lacrosse stick. Fighting is part of the sport. Action is constant. The game revolves around scoring goals on a net with a goalie protecting it. Other than the goalie the players must have overall well-rounded skills, athleticism, strength and speed. There is nothing similar about the sports and the athletes that play their games.

@@tonyrauls1941 no chance. I've played some serious ball. I've also played contact sports like rugby at a regional level. I've trained with lacrosse players. I can promise you that most baseball players would not survive playing in a legit contact sport. Does that mean no ball players have the fortitude and ability to crossover? Over course there will be exceptions, but ball players are coddled, unathletic, prima donnas who play a non-contact sport with specialized skills and most have never faced any physical adversity man to man, nor have they trained all their lives to possess physical endurance. If you played contact sport you wouldn't even be arguing with me because those of us who do know.
