Ladd has what you call easy speed. I got to watch him from when he was 6 through high school. When he's running it looks like he his even with a guy and then in two steps he just pulls away without pumping his hands harder or anything that would indicate he is going at a full 100%, but somehow he just pulls away. Another thing about Ladd is how fast he catches on. He played RB, QB, WR, CB, KR and punt returner in high school. He was not a great route runner because he never got to play WR full time. In the summer after high school, he gained weight and actually got quicker and much better at running routes. He was cooking guys at camps and private workouts. He is the king of double moves and often makes DB's look silly like he did at Senior Bowl practice.

Nice video, im hoping ladd goes to one of these teams; bengals, dolphins, cheifs, bills, chargers, or texans. If he gets a good QB, he'll have a good career.

He’s definitely a more athletic Edelman, reminds me of Kupp too. Edelman is the most underrated WR ever in the league, he’s a dawg and was always open.

I agree that many of the comparisons for McConkey are off (although Edelman was actually a college QB, so it is hard to draw many conclusions from that comparison). I do find it odd, however, that while you dismissed comparisons to receivers who were more quick than fast, you went on to compare McConkey to Antonio Brown, who ran a 4.57 forty and tested as a less explosive athlete across the board! Moreover, their college usage was much different. Brown was a highly productive receiver at Central Michigan (but his average yds per reception was 10.5). A better comparison, in my opinion, is Emmanuel Sanders. Antonio Brown had a tremendous NFL career, and we can only hope McConkey duplicates that type of success, but athletically and college production-wise, their profiles are not the same.
