Lady Bird's Mother is EVIL 

Nothing will ever make me feel like Lady Bird does. She is a teenager growing up in a struggling household, with a mother who is difficult to communicate with, and dreams of moving to New York for college. These are one of the many things that help me put myself in her shoes.
My mother never claimed her love for me outright either, but when I came to New York, she called me one day bawling; she said her entire life had been about me and she had nothing to live for now that I was away from her. Then I met Ana in my painting class, with whom I instantly became friends. She was also from California and this movie was one of the many things we bonded over. This movie holds my story within itself in its details.
Among the many thing that are misunderstood about it are the love of Lady Bird's mother. Some claim it to be cruel. But just as I see myself in Lady Bird, I see my mother in Marion. This video contains some details that might help us sympathise with her.
