What set her apart from her contemporaries in the beginning was that at the early age of 22, she was so knowledgeable from things of art history, music history, fashion, pop culture and artists before her. It shows that what she creates had substance and longevity
If she were to walk into a record store now, she'd be mauled by fans/paparazzi, etc. Lol, so weird to see her being able to just casually go about her business without others noticing.
In 2008 the way she looked was so unbelievable and unique. Now if you saw someone dressed like that on the street you’d just think it’s a cosplayer or someone wearing a weave.
Easy to see she was not only an artist herself when she began, she was a big music fan of many other artists too... I've been in music for 30 years now and, started the same way... Every performing artist is an amalgamation of all the music they've experienced up to where they are right now... Pick an artist, they were only fans once...

I mean they're empty sleeves 😅 some places do this were u bring a the case of something u want to buy to the counter & they either go to the back to get the item or bust out some album case ect. & give u the item u paid for - they usually do this cus of thievery so If they tried stealing a record /CD/ game they're really only stealing the case or sleeve
