The Alejandro video is about how different subjects like religion, politics and the military shamed and discriminated gay men. Back then, soldiers couldn't fight for their country if they were gay, so they had to marry women and pretend to live a happy straight life to fit in society. So in the song she sings in the point of view of the woman married to the gay man that truly doesn't love her. In the video she is the physical representation of religion and the military, dressed as a general, as a nun and as a priest. In the scene where she's a nun, she is in bed with "Alejandro" and there are strings controling them, simbolizing what society expect them to be. In the end, the military parade turns into a fashion runway. This video is what truly made Gaga such a strong icon and ally for the LGBTQ+ community.

by the way, Teleohone is the continuation to Paparazzi where she ended up in prision, and Aura was supposed to be the continuation in which she kills beyonce, that's why the first verse, but then ARTPOP was a whole mess so Aura just ended up being a lyric video of a trashy movie 😅

That To Be Continued is the greatest little monsters disappointment lmao. A couple things: Alejandro has been interpreted many ways. The song itself the two main interpretations I see are either: 1) The song is about her fear of men as people think the Fame Monster as an EP was about her various fears. 2) Alejandro, Fernando and Roberto refer to three "boyfriends" in her life she is saying goodbye to. (Boyfriends are in quotes because we're not sure if she actually dated any of them). Alejandro is fashion designer Alexander McQueen, who designed several looks Gaga has worn including the "Yoda" outfit as you called it from Bad Romance. He killed himself 2 months before Alejandro released as a single. Fernando is Fernando Garibay, one of her producers (he made Dance in the Dark and several Born This Way songs including the titular track). Roberto is Rob Fusari, who is also a producer and did Paparazzi. I know its a ways off, but if you do the Joanne music videos make sure to listen to Perfect Illusion, Million Reasons and John Wayne in that order as they're a trilogy. The dogs from the videos are Lava (mother) and Rumpus (son)! They belonged to Suzzane Kelleher-Duckett. Gaga just liked them a lot and wanted to include them in her videos. Sadly both have passed and aren't in anymore videos. Also Poker Face and Eh Eh Nothing Else I Can Say were all shot over the same weekend in New York!

Beautiful Dirty Rich is about not being literally rich but living your limited life as if you do have money The plot of the Bad Romance video is about a woman sold off as a sex slave to a Russian mafia, but she takes control and kills the man who tried to control her. The music video itself is very special at the time of release. Majority of the clothes in the video were by Alexander McQueen from the Plato’s Atlantis collection (futuristic and the incorporation of amphibian/reptilian features on the human body after the death of humans). The runway’s aesthetic was all white. And Bad Romance debuted as a runway song. The video released after carried the same aesthetic. This was basically a celebration of her and McQueen’s friendship. It wasn’t long after that Alexander McQueen committed suicide, making Plato’s Atlantis his final runway collection. Also making this video the last thing they have worked together and reminder of what they can do together. The green bedazzled look was THE look from the collection (“walk walk fashion baby”). She owns a few items from this collection as well. I believe the Alejandro video was also dedicated to him for its darker aesthetic. And she has mentioned him before in a couple of songs. The homoerotic theme of Alejandro was also a response to “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” that Gaga was loudly against. Telephone: this is a sequel to Paparazzi. Same director as well. The dick comment in the Telephone video is a comment on how everyone made fun of Gaga and spread rumors that she’s literally a male. The murder scene is a repeat of the Paparazzi murder scene. Beyoncé, like Gaga, wore yellow and the same glasses. The presence of Polaroid is a nod to the fact that Gaga was also a Creative Director of Polaroid. She and her team had invented a few products as well. The Bluetooth printer for pics? That’s Gaga!
