When I saw her for the St. Paul show, I literally cried tears of joy... during A-Yo!!!! Not even an emotional song!!!! But that just shows she has soul, many artists now don’t have that. Also I was thinking: “SHE’S SO LIVE!!!!!!!!!” 😂 too many people lips sync!!!!

Omg how embarrassing until she read the lyrics out at the start of the video ALL this time I thought she was singing “I wish that I could dance on a single BED” which made sense given to me because the next line is “without somebody there” because it’s a single bed and not a double bed omg I’m so embarrassed
I'm a little embarrassed that she sang in fake German to a bunch of Germans. Really, you couldn't just learn a few lines of the actual language and make it meaningful? That ruined this song for me. So corny
The song is purposefully absurd. It’s about the absurdity of postmodern feminism in pop culture and the desire to find independence as a woman without having to suffer the consequences of the history of misogyny and deciding how/when to embrace/rebuke that. The fake German is about the absurdity of that identity: how contrived, yet passionate her creation of Gaga is and about how it is both fake (like her German) and real (like her desire to ‘be strong’).
