Having a blast going through all your tee vids, bud - thank you! I'm still pretty new and ignorant to this stuff but, for what it's worth , the two heavyweight (and I do mean heavy) tees that I own and cherish are the Merz B Schwanen 2S14 (13.8 oz) and the Samurai SJST -SC01 in Kuromame black (possibly even heavier). The back story to the Samurai Cotton Project is an epic in itself.
Don't do it, bro! Don't you buy one in every color! (Attempt made... now proceed to buy one in every color. Variety is the spice of life!) But in all seriousness, I've been slowly trying out different shirts to find my perfect also. Still searching. I really like the Heavy Bag Tee from Taylor Stitch... but right now the medium is slightly too tight for my liking and the large slightly to big. If I lost 8 lbs I think it'd be perfect. Also got a Rogue Territory Pocket Tee for Christmas and really like that. Thinking of doing a short on that sometime soon. I've also tried the heavyweight tee from Brave Star and that's pretty good too. But not quite perfect. Oh, I've tried the heavyweight tees from Gustin and they are fine... but have the itchiest tags I've ever seen in my life. And removing the stitching messes up the shirt, at least for me it did. I will definitely be trying Lady White when I can. Thanks for the vid!
Looking forward to seeing your videos on it! I also found Taylor stitch to be a little too slim fitting for me. I’ve got a bravestar tee on order that I’m super excited to get on! Also thanks for keeping me from buying more haha
Surprisingly pretty good! The benefit is it doesn't stick to you like a lighter weight shirt does in the heat. It's not as breathable as the Wonder Looper tees but for it's weight it's still pretty darn comfortable in the heat!
