@@davidkamerath7749 FWIW, FIFA has been trialling making announcements for a couple of years now in various competitions. Only a couple of leagues have started doing it, but I suspect it's coming to more, since one of the most common complaints is that fans in the stadium don't know what the review is about.

@@johnmoore2040RBNY defender did nothing wrong. Boaunga made a sharp movement and tripped on his legs, even dragged his feet a little bit, that wouldnt be a foul anywhere else on the field.

@@johnmoore2040 When the multiple people in the VAR booth tell you to review it, they're telling you that you CLEARLY made an OBVIOUS error. These refs are just too prideful to change their decisions on the field. In this case, the defender never crosses into the path of Bouanga. Bouanga initiates the contact and actually puts his leg between the defender's legs. A similar thing happened against the Galaxy when the ref made a bad call on the field and the VAR recommended he reverse it but he didn't. What happened? PRO came out later and said, "Yeah, our bad. That should not have been a penalty. We screwed up" I'm pretty sure you'll see a similar result with this one. It's okay to like your team and still recognize and admit when they're the beneficiary of a bad call.
