The Los Angeles Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire fire on the 800 block of E 87th St. Light Force 64 was first on scene reporting a vacant one story single family dwelling with fire showing from the A side.
Light Force 64 established Wadsworth IC. Engine 65 was assigned fire attack from the B side where the fire was located. Engine 64 (moved up to 57s) took back up fire attack. Truck 64 went to the roof.
Fire attack personnel located the fire within the structure which spread into the attic. Knockdown was called in under 30 minutes.
