Los Angeles Fire Department Engine 57 was dispatched to a reported rubbish fire on the 7100 block of S Hoover. While in route, Metro modified the incident to a structure fire adding more Battalion 13 companies.
Task Force 33 arrived on scene to find an auto exposing a one story single family dwelling. Truck 33 went to the roof, Engine 33 initiated fire attack on the structure, Engine 57 handled the auto and was back up fire attack on the structure. Battalion 13 was known as “Hoover IC.” The fire did extend into the single family dwelling. Firefighters quickly gained a knockdown on the structure with the one room involved.
