Lahori Chikar Cholay - Oil/Ghee is not used in this Lahori chanay recipe 

I have been requesting this recipe for years but no one had a clue . I’m so happy you have given a recipe of my childhood.

Fun fact: chikar stems from Chikar with the consonant 'ळ" Punjabis (both side), Gujjars, Rajputs and Marathi use it rolling the tongue, so, it's pronounced as chika-r(rolling the R sound that wretched, write words would! It's just indigenous to India and Pakistani speakers and that in just a few pockets of lingual groups here. Baaqi, aapki marzi, thought to share that as I love learning languages.
