I hope Epic Encounters next box, or at least one of their sooner-coming releases, is going to be Hob-goblins! I love those little guys, they're perfect antagonists for mid-tier play, and one box for 16 or so would be so useful
Amazing as always, but missed opportunity to show off the scale of the drider next to the old spider like with the goblins comparison! Really curious to know how the arachnids measure up against each other

The "mini" looks pretty cool. I agree with your assessment about the loot tables in the boss boxes 100%! Next time i'll better tailor the loot i'll give my players at the end 😉 Thanks for the vid!
I really dig having memorable loot for big encounters like that. When players look down at their character sheets, I want them to see a history of their accomplishments and how far their characters have come.
Wasn't there already a spider-themed minion/boss set? The cave goblin one? Maybe you can play them one after the other... for the joy of any arachnophobic player... All jokes aside, having two liked adventures about Lolth building herself a new temple in the underdark, having corrupted goblins as a first line of defence and the drow waiting if the players manage to survive the green menaces could be fun and interesting. BTW, love the glowing crystals on the map, could be used as an excuse for an interestinge object source lighting effect on the drider, giving him an almost neon purple light from below instead of normal ambient lighting from above; much more dramatic, in my opinion.
Yup! They did have a giant spider box, Web of the Spider Tyrant. That sounds like a great adventure. I wouldn't mind them putting out a book/booklet one day that took multiple epic encounter boxes and turning them into a cohesive little adventure. And yeah, the crystals are dope.
I appreciate you showing off some hobby goodies that I am into but I know I will never buy, and I don't mean that sarcastically. I guess adding a lantern prop might have even been too much legally... (BG3 [is the more than one drider in the game?]) [I was just being a crank in my cranky comment after binging your BotC episodes and catching that one live. I was already nostalgic for some familiar faces as well as being a fan of the bigger messier games (if that even makes sense for that comment, I was enjoying a bevy as my first live game.) If Alyx made it to the last one I think we might have only been down a Ryan Tenny.]
