Cathedral quarry or as its local known Cathedral caves is a small network of caves located in Little Langdale, Cumbria. The main cave is some 40 feet in height, and was carved out during years of early mining in the local area.
it is a great place to visit and can highly recommend a trip out. From the main car park it is approximately 25 to 30 minutes walk to the cave entrance, if taking a slow walk.
Along the route you can see sheep and other farm animals, as well as listening to a variety of bird song.
The walk cuts through woodland and the valley, which has many slag heaps. It is a very low gradient walk, which can be accessed by almost everyone.
I hope you all enjoy this video, it did take quite a while to put together. If you like this type of video let me know in the comments.
Also let me know if you would prefer my own audio with myself talking and maybe appearing lol along the routes.
