This 9 mile route was a walk of 2 halves: hardly a soul as far as Thunacar Knott, then plenty of people all around the "Pikes" and on the descent route.
Tracks and paths throughout, but boggy and vague in places between Castle How & Sergeant Man.

Loved this video and route Tony. We did a similar route last year and like you we dodged out of a few peaks because of 50mph winds. Now you did mention the stile in Troutbeck that seemed to be in a fact place out on its own, well we passed that way last year too and a very strong electric fence was attached to either side and we crossed the stile very carefully!!
