This 5.5 mile hike in the Lake District Eastern Fells takes in two Wainwrights.
STEEP ascent off Greenside Road and a couple of scrambly bits on the way up to Heron Pike.
Boggy between Heron Pike and Nick Head.
Pleasant descent down Glencoyne, but then some traffic to contend with by the side of Ullswater, before arriving back in Glenridding.

Anjoyed this, did it over the xmas period, and for a lets say small wainwright you get some fabulous views from the Dodd, and it is a steep hike up. Loved it. Just need to do Sheffield pike now

Thanks Cathy. Charlie HATES having a bath! I usually dry him off as much as possible with his towel then let him dry naturally before a good brush to get the mud off.
