As planned, this would have been a 5.5 mile walk with 1800 ft ascent. However, it was shortened due to inclement weather and became a 4 mile walk with 1320 ft ascent.
There are clear paths throughout but, as with most of the Central Fells, there is a potential for bogs.

Nice early morning stroll, congrats on 100 up.. Be a nice camp spot up there, plenty rocks to block out the wind etc. :)

I’ve kinda stalled after hitting 100 Dave. Proving to be a tough slog. Dock Tarn is a great camp spot.

Congrats on your 100 subs....you deserve 1000. Thanks for the shout out Tony. The last time we did Grange Fell it lashed it down and we continued on the very boggy path heading for dock tarn but not quite just to make the walk longer. I have no idea why haha. I love your app and music on your route time , makes me laugh every time. Charlie bobs is good on the ladder stiles 👏
