Thanks Sally. If you’re particular about making sure you actually reach the tops of hills, it’s not the trg pillar on Harter Fell, but the outcrop you can see behind me.

Hi tony when you do slight side look out for 2 RAF bommer which crashed in 1943 part of wreckage can still be seen on your left side theres a small cain as a marker turn left walk down hill 200 yards and you will see menorial with plaque with names on.

Hi Rob. That’s brilliant. Have you a preference for which day? I hadn’t realised when I pencilled it in that it’s bank holiday weekend, so Wasdale will be busy. Have you been up that way before?

Hi again Rob. Just watching Leeds v Norwich and if Leeds make it to the final (on 26th) it’ll have to be Saturday 25th for me. Should be a bit quieter too.
