The colors of the rocky hillside behind you from that hike up to the top were awesome! Great video. Thanks for sharing. Hope you are both staying safe.
Whew .... difficult trip in and out! Brad did a admirable job at the wheel! Also did a great job getting to the top of the peak to show us stunning sights! ⛰️ What an extra added treat seeing the burros again! The other wildlife ... the sheep 🐏 and the coyote was wonderful as well. Beautiful flora 🌼🌺.... and the gorgeous sunset 🌄 were remarkable. Always love seeing Paco .... his handsome little face in the sunlight. Your adventure footage is always appreciated .,. more now than ever 🙂 Please stay safe, stay well 😷💕
❤️❤️❤️ Paco melts our hearts daily. The wildlife was such a fun surprise. The burros visited three days. They were a little family! A male, a younger one, and a pregnant female. The male would wander more on his own but the other two stuck together. They were precious. Seeing the coyote so close was really special!! Hope you are staying safe and well too 💐
We just bought a Travel Trailer and live here in Henderson and planned to go out to Echo Bay, Govt Wash as soon as his vacation kicks in next month, just someplace close, I hope we get to Lake Pahranagat in Alamo NV, saw it as we were checking out everything on a drive. Happy Trails!
looked like some slow going in and out, I know how that feels pulling a travel trailer. Stunning spot, loved the fire / sunset footage. Thanks for posting !
Washboard roads are especially unpleasant when towing 😆 but the reward of a beautiful campsite helped. I was having fun with my new camera's slo mo skills, the fire was a great subject 👍😃
Thanks for sharing another adventure. I hate towing over washboard and rough road but since I mostly boondock in the mountains of Idaho and Montana, it happens a lot. Glad there was no damage and you ended up in a spot that was quiet and pretty, with lots of wildlife. Take care and stay safe!
Thank you! We hear ya, we got the 4x4 set up so we could have even more boondocking options but we are not fans of the rough roads 😆 at least they lead us to such beautiful places. We definitely need to explore Idaho and Montana more ❤️ stay safe out there yourself!
The 4x4 seemed pretty key if towing a trailer. There was a class C down there when we left but at least most of that weight is near the front. A little sketchy driving but definitely a beautiful spot. Take care!
That was beautiful you guys, the night sky shot and sunsets with the fire, so incredible. I know it was rough and slow going, but two weeks in the spot would be so neat. Thank you for showing us the wildlife and the scenery around that area. :)
We agree, the longer you can stay, the more it makes the rough roads worthwhile! The wildlife always adds such a cool element to new places ☺️ so good you enjoyed it! Take care!!
You two are such great adventurers that it makes it thrilling each time I get an email saying that I have another video from the Wanderland Travelers! This one did not disappoint!! I hope you did not break anything in your RV cupboards or cabinets. That was not really a road for vehicles with tires. It was more like for track vehicles. Thank you for sharing this with us!!!
Nothing broken in the RV thankfully! We appreciate having off road capacities with this truck and specific trailer but this road definitely felt a little wild!! So glad our videos bring you some joy ☺️
Oh those burros 😍 sure liked the orange stuff! Awesome view from your hike & your night photography- wow! Big horn sheep - awesome spot. We heard SO many coyotes at a camping spot on our Christmas trip - a bit scary.
The brand of Brad's hat is Conner. He has this one in 3XL: amzn.to/3gQxIWa I think the sizing runs fairly small. The hat is really lightweight so it's great in hot weather. The one downside is if the wire rim gets bent out of shape, it's near impossible to get it back to looking good -- so just store it flat or on a hook when you aren't wearing it!
The desert is a beautiful place and these washes make a great trail in and out, but always be aware of the weather forecast for the area during your stay. A flash flood can roar down these canyons and turn these peaceful washes into raging rivers. Even if your campsite is on high ground, you could find yourselves stranded for days because the trail you came in on is now washed out. Just use good common sense and always let someone know beforehand where you'll be camping.
