I tried to convince my husband to move there or Winter Garden but he didn’t want to ‘’wait’’ for the areas to become more developed. Plenty of vacant retail space, but few tenants. I will be excited to see both areas grow over the years.
I so appreciate this video! I’m planning to move to Central Florida by next May. I haven’t decided on a town or city yet, though Orlando is #1 on my list. I’m a nurse, my eldest wants to attend UCF and my 10 year old just started tennis lessons. After this video, I’m heavily considering a visit to lake Nona.
Hi! You should check out Wadeview park and Delaney park area. You would be right by the big hospital that is on orange ave. , delaney park has tennis courts and you are right by I-4 and the 408 to jump on and get everywhere. Ucf not far either! Super convenient to any store u might need. Nice parks with owls, peacocks, lots of people out walking their dogs. Lots of character. :))))
I love lake Nona, but are you showing lake Nona or what? I see more of you that around the area. This dude have the camera in your face the entire time 🙄
the part of Lake Nona that is overaded is the narccosseee road south side of 417 going to St Cloud traffic and not walking friently from business and schools in the the main roads
As someone from MI looking to get an STR that’s on top of the parks, this just doesn’t fit the bill. If I were to just happen to live in FL I would definitely consider a place like this.
Hello, we drove by Lake Nona and checked out some homes by the VA and what seemed to be a newer Publix (very nice) in the area. The homes although nice were very cookie cutter and too on top of each other for our taste. Also, very narrow streets and cars parked on the road blocking the streets. Is there another part of Lake Nona with more land, less cookie cutter styles homes, and more space? I was not sure. Thank you!
Love your Videos Ken, you do an awesome job!! I have a quick question, with all this new development, are there any plans to address the expected heavy Traffic Congestion? Do they plan to expand the existing highways? Any information you can provide on this concern is greatly appreciated big time. Once again, great video my man!!
Thanks, Anthony! 417 (which runs next to Lake Nona) isn’t jammed packed just yet. Some of the ancillary roads have also been widened in anticipation of the growth. They’re doing a great job being forward thinking.
I live in NY very close to JFK airport and I see planes flying overhead all the time but I don’t hear them anymore. When I have friends or family over they sometimes ask, “how can you deal with that noise?” and I always reply “what noise”.
Ken, I will be speaking in Austin at the Move 2022 event Sept 27-28. Would like to collaborate. I work in the UCF Incubator in the Guidewell Innovation Building. Also partnering with Beep, Visit Orlando and Tavistock
Johnson& Johnson Training Facility for the training of the heart, mind and soul of their employees to turn around and poison their customers. J&J Baby Powder anyone?
I’ve heard of Lake Nona from a friend. Is there still a new home construction at 500k. Can the bedrooms be rented to single professionals? I want to be near the main action like downtown. Thank you
@@kenpozek thanks for the response. I’m planning to rent to people for one year not short term. Does the city allows one year per bedroom rent? Also, mostly who are individual renters? Thanks so much
Not considered Lake Nona, although they’ll tell you that it is. Here’s the thing, it’s much more affordable than Lake Nona with easy access to the area. I think meridian parks and Moss Park is a great value for those that have been priced out of the lake Nona area. Happy to chat through different options if you’re looking to jump in over there!
Some parts are. Some parts you don’t even know it’s there. Just closed on a house in the LN country club. It’s literally RIGHT near the airport. But due to the flight patterns it’s there was no noise. Other areas you can definitely hear it
