We love Lake Powell as well. I’m always looking for ways to improve our trip. Love the soft serve idea. Would your sister buy the same machine again or different one? Your tone seemed to be that it was difficult to learn how to use.
It's not difficult to learn or to clean; it's just that there is information to learn and to absorb. It's not like a Blender, and everyone understands the concept. We don't keep it on the houseboat because it does take up space, and that's rude to the other owners. She hauls it down every year to ensure it works for when we want to use it. When you leave things on the Lake, you never know what you will find the next year. We have had this ice cream machine for 2 summers, and it's been used on 4 trips hard, making ice cream every day so I think we are all very happy with its quality of freeze and consistency, especially out in over 100-degree weather. If I wanted to buy one for our house, (which i won't do because I don't want to gain 50 lbs) I would buy this one again because from what I can tell its perfect.
Loved your video! And your houseboat. I've seen it a few times in Face and West and at Antelope. Just not a big fan of all the fireworks you purchased. Yep I get it! But they are illegal at Powell.
Fireworks have been a family tradition on LP before I was even born. It’s a hard thing to let go of. It’s a great boat and thank you for enjoying my video:)
Do you or anyone else rent their luxury boat out for the week? I've used the Antelope and Wahweap rental in prior years. I found their high end boats to be lacking and was trying to find something nicer.
Those are the nicest rentals I know on the lake. I don’t know anyone who rents their boat out…too many things can go wrong and then it messes up the whole season
Do you mean on a ski boat? The houseboat actually doesn’t have a max bc it’s classified differently. As far as our ski boats we have large capacity boats that can have 15-20 so we’ve also never had any issue. To be honest it’s a huge lake I’ve never seen any enforcement of anything. It’s a very freeing place

I’ve always said it was my dad’s boat and never made any claims to the contrary. Why are you watching lake Powell videos unless you are interested in lake Powell? Last, because it’s obvious you don’t understand RU-vid or peoples interests…guess what many people have the questions I answer in this video. I get many many questions about our annual family lake trip so I answered them first people. I’m not sure why you have this need to be rude and frankly dumb
