We thought we were prepared! On the start to our overlanding portion of this adventure, we stumbled across some major problems! (Previously recorded in March of 2022.) Our group decided to split into two once getting closer to Lake Powell in search of the best camp spot! Along the way, one of us manages to catch fire and completely change the dynamic of the rest of the journey! Trying to find the other group is a whole challenge in itself! This is something we never thought we'd encounter! As the saying goes, 'Prepare for the worst, hope for the best!' We Thought we were prepared! Every adventure is an opportunity to learn! And boy did we learn! We are very grateful the situation worked out the way it did though! It could have been so much worse! Let us know things you've learned on your overlanding adventures!
