I heard this song in line at Which Which sandwich shop, had to SHAZAAM IT. My youngest daughters favorite stuffed animal was a hippo, and when I took her to the San Diego Zoo she saw a baby hippo. Loved it.

I perform on a Christmas tour, santa and the elves on a train to the north pole kind of thing, and this song comes on near the end as a bonus if we're stuck in traffic. It's amazing. Also, all the parents LOVE to dance with me to it. I'm a bellydancer as my primary thing, and I did not expect a friendly shimmy-contest with every Mom in new york to be part of a christmas elf gig... until this amazing song came along.

I've wanted a hippo since I was a child, but I've long ago given up on that dream. But recently I heard that if you shave a guinea pig, it looks EXACTLY like a miniature hippopotamus. Guinea pigs aren't that expensive, but how ethical is it to shave one? Also, wouldn't it have to be doped up on Benedryl or something? And I'd probably have to shave it every other day. SIGH...
