This band is amazing. But the sound engineer really screwed up on this one. The recording doesn't do her voice justice.

Agree, her voice should be louder. It's like she's singing from backstage. They are all extremely talented, but let's be honest and say that to the masses or casual music listener that Rachel's voice is the focal point of the band. Most of us who really appreciate them and all sorts of 'real' music know it's more than that, but the fact is that the lead singer gets the attention.

They seem to have a problem with engineers at a lot of places they cut these type of videos. The sound always sucks. I don’t get why, it’s a simple setup and they’re all very good at controlling their dynamics.

Yeah sound mix is not great on this OPB version, but nice video. Another on Bad Self Portraits released Feb 2014. In general, the OPB videos of LSD are pretty good. Better than most cell phones, for sure.

So love the group. The sound tho on "all" of the videos...too much music can't really hear the nuances of the singing not to mention it's sooo noisy or too fast too many instruments or...something just can't put my finger on it. I want to hear more from this obviously very talented group but not in it's current state.
