KUTX Presents: Lake Street Dive performing "Stop Your Crying" backstage at Old Settler's Music Festival in Driftwood, Tx. Producers: Jorge Sanhueza-Lyon Ilana Panich-Linsman Audio Engineer: Casey Cheek
I feel it impossible to explain the divine perfection of the audio and video quality of this.Other than we are in a simulated reality. This eviscerates my heart in an avalanche of beauty. I love this band.
Saw them in Northampton last week. Did not disappoint. What a breath of fresh air. Bridget Kearney on bass is a thing of joy. What a great player. Oh hell they are all great. Much luck to them.
Whaddya mean not famous? We all love them! Don't know if I want them to be a household name... might be harder to get to see them. :) But I think they're on their way to bigger venues for sure... keep watching!
really enjoyed this, as a motown/soul fan was amazed to see this genre of music by young musicians... current pop rnb hip hop and dance music, can just Stop Your Crying
Just saw them at Union Transfer in Philly. Perfect venue to see them live. They were in good form that night and sounded brilliant. They did a cover of "Walking on Broken Glass" that was electric. They said they were winding down their tour (of nearly a year on the road) to do another album, so I am so looking forward to them coming back in concert again.
Gorgeous voice from a beautiful woman. Talented musicians and tight harmonies - I like this band! I'm looking forward to seeing them in the UK this Tuesday! :-)
Finally!!!! Music with absolute passion and soul backing it, WITHOUT any sluttiness or sexualisation. It DOES still exist! These guys would be a great opener for Hall and Oates !
Always mark: Sluttiness & Co. nourish the suspicion that it's all diversionary tactics because the music they display is so poor and empty. Sad to say the "music" business is eager to make the consumer unlearn to listen to the music.
YES I am going to continue to rave about these people night and day... and post all their video links to FB. They rocked the XPoNential Music Festival in NJ this summer and shall continue to rock everywhere they play! Long live LSD :)
Jaw dropping talent . I am so excited to hear this band play.Gives me so much hope in music . I agree with you totally . Have to check to see if the will be coming to Ohio.
I love these people every time I see this. Well, a friend of me just gave me a STAND UP BASS!! Annie asked me if I knew how to play it, and I said no, but that's not going to stop me. :))) Great band... LOVE the bass player.. don't let it go to your head HAHAHAHAHAAAAAaaa!
Why don't they have 20 # 1 hits by now? There's a lot of great overlooked bands but they have a very accessible/ commercial / pop sound that I would think most people would dig.
Tommy Haynes : saw them in Glasgow recently and they were brilliant. A lot of bands from the USA touring here at the moment and your music is alive and well. Just saw St Paul And The Broken Bones, Nathaniel Rateliffe And The Night Sweats and got Whiskey Myres and Jason Isbel coming soon. Keep sending them over
So nice to hear 4 talented people really digging what they do in their lives. I agree with Buelligan88 - they're making other music up their game. Keep at it guys!
I love this band. This was the tune that won me over, especially studio version. (although this was great) Hopefully I'll catch them when they come in our neck of the woods.
Ive followed since the start. Rising stars, but should already be chart toppers. Rachel Price "What am i doing here" best video to show off her wonderful voice...
Ran to into Rachel at Union Square Market in NYC last winter. Terrific person. Said to be sure to come to the Beacon show Feb 25....unfortunately that doesn't work, but they're back at Radio City in NYC in October- YESSS!
Whoever taught live sound mixers to mix backing vocals low has a lot to answer for. I've seen it happen time and time again, yet _""strangely""_ have never heard backing vocals be too loud. It's _almost_ like backing vocalists can monitor their own voices while singing on stage!
In Italy if you have a good voice, and can sing loud too, you have no chance to find a record label - radios need you if you're like anybody else. In the U.S. is really strange they are not in the charts....
