Great band, great song. (But ...Why do some people bother to go to hear music, and then spend their time talking?) Anyway I enjoyed watching & hearing the music. Thanks for posting.

The Trumpet's perfect lol. The line up is wonderful too. Wouldn't change a thing. I would like to experience the band live.

Go back and listen to the first 12 seconds of the original 1960's Drifters version of this tune and you may realize that the "unusual" trumpet solo at the top of this LSD version is tongue in cheek. You can only get away with this if you are really good.

The drifters were great vocalists, but the string arrangement makes that track unlistenable. In any case, Lake Street Dive is more nerdster than hipster.

"It don't matter." - The Reverend Tim (psst: all of the original members of 'The Drifters' are dead) Just fun stuff live in a pub. Learn to enjoy. If they recorded in a studio, much of course would be cleaned up.)
