me too. unfortunately there isn't a market for it anymore. i'm almost 38yo myself and even me enjoying 50's 60's oldies is a little unorthodox to say the least. i have immersed my kids in that muzik though. gotta keep it alive. they are 6 and 4. muzik of that time period is still the best even today. it still holds up i believe.
I just love this softer, gentler version ... the young singers come across as so vulnerable ... it's sweet. There can be more than one way to sing a song. Glad to see them keeping the classic songs "alive".
I to would love this song. :) I am getting married in a couple weeks. And we're using this song, as the original was my parents first dance. Automatically brought me to tears when I heard it. My parents love it.
I know you guys made this video a long time ago, but I have to say the harmony you both have is amazing. This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I have to say, honestly, your simple acoustic version is by far my favorite variation because it really puts focus on the amazing, poetic lyrics which (again opinions) modern songs/pop severely lack. I would kill to hear the two of you do other oldies in a similar fashion (What Becomes of the Broken Hearted, Run Around Sue, and Chances Are come to mind). :)
