Phil....I appreciate your maps when showing properties! We just got back from Maine this weekend to visit family! Salt water I love but def would consider a lake property.
*United Country Lifestyle properties of Maine* Beautiful getaway for the summer months, thank-you sir for taking the time to show us around. GOD Bless.
Pretty but like you said not a place in you don't want to be that close to the road . If you don't mind answering for future properties . How does lake drawn water work in the winter ? They have the pipes buried below frost level coming through the bottom of the camp ? I know it's just a summer camp if it was to be converted to 4 season what are the steps for the lake drawn water and freezing conditions . Thanks
This would be difficult to convert to your round use home. Other than day use in the winter time. You might want to look for a different property for a year round home.
215 for a place that you can only visit for 5 months with no land is about 50k too much. The problem is all it takes is one idiot and then the value is what someone is willing to pay
Way 😁 over priced for 650 square feet. There are homes bigger for that price. Plus the distance between towns is very far especially where gas prices are high. People aren't buying right now because of higher food prices and gas. That price is roughly $2500 with interest from the bank. Never mind that is doesn't have a well . Two where is all the run off of snow and 🌧️ n on the main road heading down too ? They get a lot 😀 f snow up in that region. During covid they had 24 ft of snow. My cousin showed me a picture from Frenchville Maine . It was like 1888 when the town got slammed with 20 ft back than! I was amazed that you couldn't barely see the T on the telephone poles. As a kid up in New Brunswick Lac Baker we could barely see the lake with the amount of snow blowed 6 ft over the guard rails. Where's would you put a well ? Maine has laws that wells are to be 100 ft from the lake as well as a home now a days. But even so the well still needs a location on the property?
I have searched the statewide MLS for lakefront cottages under $215,000 that are not located off grid or on a private association road with at least 200 feet of frontage. I found three and only this one is on a cold water lake. if you find a cheaper one, please send me the address thank you.
