I'm not surprised one bit although even though Bronny's good, I don't think he's quite ready for the NBA yet. The NBA is a whole different animal than college!
Only thing I dislike about this whole bringing in Bronny to the Lakers. It's all about taking care of Lebron. It is. Lebron is a free agent now drafting Bronny will now have Lebron resign for a 2 year deal. I feel the league is going to let the Lakers win it all this upcoming season as it will be the 1st ever Father/Son playing together on a team and a 1st to ever win a title together Reddick has always had a Super Ego and always thought he was better than everyone else so he fits perfectly in with all the BIG EGOS there in Laker nation I hope Lebron has his worst season ever and they miss the playoffs all in all. I think Bronny will have a decent rookie campaign 17.6 pts a game 6 assists 5 rebounds all in credit to his dad Lebron. How this all played out makes everything look rigged as this has NEVER happened Never ever until now
Guys that can guard??? At 6'1, who is Bronny guarding over 6'2/ multiple positions? And where did he display this high-level ability? I missed it. Not saying he's trash, just emphasizing how great NBA players really are. I've NEVER seen Bronny dominate at any level consistently, a hell of a team/role player tho.
Even if he's only 6'2, he's still like 215lbs (pretty stocky for a PG). With that frame & if he can find his shot, being similar to Mike Conley or Kyle Lowry (even TJ McConnell) wouldn't be the end of the world... you do have a point, I've never seen him dominate consistently at any level either (outside of flashes of potential).
@daverichard921 Broooooo!!! Great perspective!!! Love TJ and a Conley fan since his HS days. Broney is a better athlete than Conley and Lowry and can certainly jump higher than TJ. If he tightens his handles to Mike's level(Conley of course not that other mike fella), commits to D like TJ, and just gets a midrange, floater, or just become unstoppable from 10 in like TJ...I see it!!! The 3, and learning how to use his IQ as the primary ball handler will take a while, but if he patterns his game after TJ...with those hops... OK... I see it now!!!

You're out of your freekin mind. No way did bronny earn what was just handed to him. If he wants father and son time, they can play in their back yard or other dozens of courts that lebron own's. I think it's petty full and absurd. Let bronny earn his way to the NBA, not let lebron and clutch not only dictate his career but giving him handouts is not being fatherly, that's nepotism and using power play to get what Lebum wants I'm so sick of how this one man lebron James and clutch sports have ruined the Los Angeles Lakers.
