3 things i can point out being me as a shoe maker 1 these are cemented shoe (pasted) so less expensive,hand welted shoe are expensive 2. Leather is not always inexpensive bigger brand get their leather specially made from tanneries which are expensive,and for kind information an expensive leather is majorly measured in dm(deci meter) 3. The paint on the sole doesnt make the shoe waterproof,waterproofing depends on the type of welt done on the shoe,goodyear welt makes a shoe waterproof(not 100%)

Pakistani handmade shoes always have some defect in them, cheap soles, cheap metal parts, cheap laces and cheap elastics. The Measurements are also not accurate. Leather is either too soft and get wrinkles or too hard and thin.

Designer shoes are expensive because so much effort is put into it, not the way they’re cementing. Designer shoes are hand welted and hand stitched not the way they are glueing. They’ll only last for max 1-2 years while designer shoes upper last for around 10-15 years. Sole can be replaced once worn out, buts its not possible in these shoes.

That stuff is rubbish. I have been using " Rockport" Hyrashield brand (hand made) pair of shoes since 2006, bought it for £100 in discount. Another pair of Clarke for £75 from 2007 to 2017.

What you smart people are not realizing that the desiginers charge you for their names. Not for quality we live in Canada and we see most of the designer’s items are made in china for which they charge use hundreds of dollars while these people are charging around $25-$30 and if this shoe last a year or two what more do you want.
