Yay!!! I’m Assiniboine & Sioux from Ft.Peck and this is so similar to how my grandmas, aunties, and mom make their bread. I’m married to a Navajo as well so they think this method is so odd, but it’s home to me! 💕☺️

I was privileged to attend a "Making Relatives" ceremony, hosted by Jerry Yellowhawk of Rapid City. We had frybread tacos as part of the meal, I still crave those to this day. You all can really cook well, I'd say you give southern cooks a run for their money!!! Thanks for the video

I believe That's way to much yeast for four cup of flour, Perhaps one of those packet of yeast to five pound of flour is the way to go , you have to be careful when using yeast to rise bread dough 🍞 I think I had fry bread before and I don't think it's meant to be cook that way ,then again I do like those Italian fry Zeppole . what type of yeast are you using fast dry active yeast . I bake bread at home sometimes and I use 3/4 tsp that's tea spoon to four cups of flour , I can make ✌two good loaf of bread with it .
Dont forget to put your frying pan handle away from the front of the stove..children can grab that..good habit to get into now thw twin are getting older.
