Lama Tsomo Describes the Near and Far Enemies of the Four Immeasurables 

In this short clip, Lama Tsomo describes how each of the Four Immeasurables or the Four Boundless Qualities have a near and far enemy. In Buddhism the Four Immeasurables are known as the path to cultivate a limitless heart. We can think of the near and far enemies as detours on our path. The far enemy is considered a complete opposite and a near enemy is the appearance of the Immeasurable, but an ego-tinged variation.
