Props to him for even showing up. He didnt want to be there and you could tell. No one loses a conference championship game and wants to walk on stage to accept a meaningless award.
The hate that this man gets that he has so much talent with very little carries his team on his back… if there was no Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens wouldn’t even make the playoffs. I just can’t believe the amount of comments and hate that this guy gets he didn’t choke job in the Super Bowl the coaching staff did.
Baltimore has an insane team around him, you’re high. Lamar has had 14 All-Pro seasons from teammates surrounding him in his career so far. Get a grip.
@@HeplMehdo you know what system qb means, hes the exact opposite. Lamar is the reason the ravens were 13-3 (didn’t play last game because rest) the championship was bad coaching above all
Do yourself a favor and give Christian McCaffrey and Brock Purdy an MVP trophy..I mean at least they'll have one then..because the NFL just made it loud and clear who they gave theirs to..😂😂😂😂😂😂
Congratulations Lamar at least the Swelcies can’t send refs to take it from you! We who watched you play saw an epic season and my favorite plays were the ones that you played Houdini and got away.
This is why I will still support him. We didn’t accomplish our goal at all. Conf championship lost is a bust for how good of a team we had. He took his award and dipped. So many players these days would be happy with that being it
Do yourself a favor and give Christian McCaffrey an MVP trophy..I mean it'll be bulllsh!tt just like your opinion but at least that way you'll know he has one..😂😂😂
@jpnoy It wouldn't have been a first and the presences of them both is exactly why neither of them got it. MOST VALUABLE PLAYER.... your either the most valuable to your team or your not. Two guys can't be most valuable.
Dak is the only qb whose stats wouldve justified him winning it. Lamar i believe finished like 15th or 16th in the nfl for passing yards for fucks sake
Funny how so many people think their opinion is more qualified than reporters and analysts who know and understand football much more than us and have seen film on ALL candidates equally. I personally love football and felt Lamar deserved it but I would be biased since I’ve only really seen film on him and Purdy. People always gotta throw shade at Lamar, hes the leagues favorite punching bag, and instead of appreciating him, along with other talents like Purdy (whom people love to call a system qb) people always got to hate or say something negative.
my boy Purdy didn't win it this year but just the fact that he is there with a chance to win is incredible and most important he can win that ring on sunday.. LETS GO 9ERS!!!
@GP______ he's not the most valuable player on the 9ers. That's why. He's an incredible player and definitely a future HOF'er (I say this as a huge CMC fan since his college days as well as a Carolina Panthers fan) but Lamar means more to his team than Purdy or CMC means to the 9ers. Without Purdy the 9ers still make a deep playoff run (they did it with the trash bag Jimmy G) and without CMC they also make a deep run into the playoffs (they did it with Mostert).. that 9ers team is fucking loaded. Without Lamar the Ravens are lucky to break .500. Lamar is the entire Ravens offense. Without him the Ravens aren't even a competitive team. 💯
All jokes aside... This has to be one of the worst MVP seasons of all time.. as far as the QB is concerned Lamar was 11th and 19th in yards passing and passing tds... He also had the leagues Best defense... He simply was not the MVP this season
@@eltrain8694without that defense this team barely makes the wild card... A quarter of his TDS came in one game against the dolphins and we saw who Lamar really is in the playoffs... Don't kid yourself here.. Lamar was the least deserving MVP we've seen
I’m not even gonna lie. Josh Allen should have won that. Besides the interceptions he was crazy this year. Without Allen the Bills would have went nowhere
Only Josh can lead the league in touchdowns and not win the MVP. Past 5 QBs all had 40+ tds. Past 8 all had 35+ Lamar didn't even break 30 tds and won it. Pretty pathetic but the media declared him MVP.
@@dotdottheconnector8795 Allen was 5-1 against playoff teams lol. Allen had more tds, more yards, higher QBR, 2nd in EPA, 1st in negative EPA. This was the worst MVP in years.
I would argue Allen is far more valuable to the Bills than Jackson is to the Ravens. Lamar only has 29 TDs this year that less than 2 per game. Josh Allen has 45. When Lamar doesn't score a TD, the ravens are 2-1 (winning record) When Lamar only scores 1 TD, the ravens are 4-1 (winning record) Meanwhile Josh Allen has scored a TD in every game. He only has 1 game with a single TD and the Bills lost. Long story short, the ravens don't need Lamar to be that good to win. The Bills need Josh Allen to be the best player on the field to win And I know Allen has a lot more turnovers. But Allen has 45 TDs to 22 turnovers (2.05 ratio). Lamar has 29 TDs and 13 turnovers (2.23 ratio). I'll take the higher volume at a very similar TD-Turnover ratio
What you’re saying is not wrong. I just want you to take note that the ravens actually used their running backs on the goal line instead of qb draws every time
@@burthudson8834 The bills would often try to run in a goal to go situation but their RBs couldn't punch it in, so Allen did what he had to do. Also, he wasnt like Hurts who probably had a combined 20 yards on his 15 rushing TDs. Allen had a lot more TDs where he does it himself instead of his o-line doing it for him
Yet for some reason, every game he was the best player on the field, except that afc championship game..and out of 100 nfl players asked, 97 said it’s Lamar hands down, so yeah you don’t know what you are talking about
@@PessimisticRavensFam Some NFL players and have you seen the Top 100 list or the players lists in general? They're terrible. There's no reason he should have won MVP, give me a reason please! He doesn't have the stats, he doesn't have anything
Shout lamar for winning the most valuable player award and not the most valuable stats award but if it was just a stat award maybe tyreek hill or cedee lamb couldve won the M.V.P also dak,Purdy nor McCaffrey a historical season i can see if dak or purdy threw for 50 tds or McCaffrey rushed for 2000 yards they shouldve won it
Unironically, should’ve been Jordan love man had rookies all around him, and he still put up like what the second most touchdowns in the league and let us team to the freaking divisional round
Purdy had best stats, CMC was best player but Allen was the most valuable to his team this year, Lamar is great but he won it on Christmas game, didn’t have the season Allen or Purdy did?
Overblown stats and overrated while looking like crap in the playoffs and having a bad post season reacord is the key to MVP.. it's not about wins its about marketability
People acting like QBs winning MVP is new, lmao. Out of the 58 MVP awards given, 37 have been QBs. Only 18 have gone to RBs. The QB obviously runs the offense, but their success is determined by their run game and #1 receiver. Also, people talking about the depth of the playoff run dont unerstand the core concept of regular season MVP, lol. The fact Dak came 2nd in voting though, having a losing record against teams over .500% winning record. All time he is 18-24 of teams with winning records... The reason ppl are upset or there is controversy, is because new or maturing QBs are mid at best. Comparing Brees, Brady, Manning, Rivers etc. generation to the newest is laughable. Look at the draft records over the past decade. Besides Mahomes, there are no truly dominant QBs, and even he is limted by receivers.
