NBA 2k9 - I'll never forget using the Blazers with BRoy, Aldridge, Andre Miller, Travis Outlaw, Batum, Greg Oden, RUDY Fernandez, Joel Przybilla, Jaryd Bayless and Steve Blake. Before the days of countless players using 5out. Where the only thing you had to worry about was someone pausing the game because they were losing and leaving it there for hours

Brandon Roys game was literally perfect. Could shoot the 3, pull up J, go right or left, make tough shots with his left hand, had a 40 inch vert so could dunk with the best of them. He would have taken the Blazers far. They were cursed with the injuries to him and Oden. That was a dynasty in the making. Aldridge himself was no slouch. Their role players too were so annoying, 3 and D guys who did all the dirty work. They were a tough matchup every game. Poor Blazers.

Brandon Roy is truly what people talk about when someone says THREE LEVEL SCORER, but what made him special was he was never DOING TOO MUCH. He was always willing to make the right pass while being utterly dominant, he is kind of what SGA is looking like right now, but he was a much better three point shooter. In the modern game where heliocentric offenses happen due to spacing being figured out, he'd be dominant.

They were the youngest team ever to hit 54 wins, with Oden only being present for half of that. I don't know how good they could've gotten but they did have traits that NBA championship squads tended to have - defense (perimeter and interior), offense at three levels, versatility, good bench, multiple perennial All-Stars/superstar talent. Really a damn shame we didn't get to see them hit their primes together.

I’m sorry but Greg oden was regular to me. He would’ve been a regular center. I don’t see what yall see. He was just bigger than everybody else in college and it’s not like his numbers were crazy. He would probably average 14 and 10 and that’s it
