Hey All! Well this is one of the strangest movies I've ever seen, while also not coming off as a wacky or over-the-top film. It's a bit of horror and drama and not a whole lot of dialogue is said in this film, BUT, it works. The themes in this movie are not hidden, and are portrayed well.
This was one of the first movie reactions I did on my main channel. I re-edited the video to include full-screen video and better transitions in order to make this a better viewing experience.

i have to say that i'm really proud of our little film industry to create such kind of movies. it is a blend of folk tale inspired drama and modern drama elements. and you did it again. no donkeys, mike. it is the absolut unique breed of icelandic horses, one of the oldest and purest horse breed. not donkeys. pfffffd!

noomi is originally from iceland. they don't speak much because of their personal couples history of miscarriages. when this sheephybrid comes into their lives everything changes. i like the harshness of this movie, the creepiness, the words unspoken and the question about how we treat animals, the ethical questions it brings. i loved this movie and it's darkness. there is no happy end, like so often in real life. glad you picked this! more icelandic movies, pls!

@@mikewatchesstuff ok, i forgive you. but only if you lazybones revive your music reaction channel with helen sjöholm, du måste finnas with english subtitles. you need the subtitles to understand what she is singing about. it is taken from a musical called kristina från duvemåla, written and composed by abbas björn and benny. i have never seen any performance like this in five years. she is absolut phenomenal. there is a woman in the choir standing on her right side and she looks really terrified. you can also see björn and benny in a closeup, watching this mesmerized. do it and thank me later!
