Man, I know it's subjective...but I don't think I hear a $500 (AUD) price difference in these pickups. Really expected the Lambertones to be obviously better, but it's pretty close! Good job Sire 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Very nice video. Both the old and new pickups sound great. Your tone is classic. I do like the Barber pedal...very retro. I was lucky enough to be invited to the church Tom Anderson (Anderson Guitarworks) to attend service and watch him play on the worship team. This was many years ago. He was also using a Barber pedal for his distortion. I think it was the Tone Press. Keep up the excellent work! God bless.

This is awesome! Are the presets for the UA Amps that you are running here different than the ones in your "Dialing in" Videos? If so, are you able to provide any insight into how you have these dialed in this video, because they sound GORGEOUS!
Hey Luke thanks so much! I am using the same speakers but it is dialed in differently since it’s a different guitar. I used the same principle as I did in my dialing videos, just follow those through and use your ears and gauge how you like your edge of breakup and it should sound similar.
Great demo! I miss my grinders. I had them in a solid body tele and they absolutely ripped. I actually have a video on my channel from a couple years ago if you want to check it out. Great demo! How was the neck of the H7? I've tried the Epi ES335 and the neck is kinda thick for my liking. Waiting for my chance to try this guitar in store! :D cheers!
Thanks! I would say the neck is on the thicker side. It actually feels like a gretsch neck if you’ve ever played any of the gretsch stuff. I think it’s a tad narrower than my friends Gibson 335 but I’m not sure about how it compares to an epiphone 335
I got the H7 because I didn't like the neck of the Epiphone ES335. I have played a Fender Telecaster for years and prefer my necks thinner, especially because at the time I bought it I was dealing with pain in my hands. With that said, my neck is thinner and I love it. If you try out the H7 play multiples because I did notice that mine is thinner than another I tried.
@@jopppsss yeah that is one of the main reasons I didn't go with an Epiphone ES 335. I was also looking at an Epiphone Sheraton, but just never liked the neck. I feel right at home with my H7 though
