Lamborghini on 60 Minutes 

I remember when this first aired way back in '87. I was 15 so 60 minutes wasn't exactly on my "like to watch" list then. I was channel flipping and heard this story coming up next after the break. I did a mad hunt for a blank VHS and popped it in *just* in time to start recording. That tape *broke* some years ago so glad somebody posted it up again. Thanks!

Lamborghini Countach and Morley Safer... Two legendary icons. The new Lambos may be faster, but the Countach is hands down the SEXIEST Lamborghini of ALL time. I think every kid in the 80s, had a poster of one on their wall.

Sounds almost exactly like my story! Thank God my tape never broke. It just took me about 5 years to find it when I wanted to transfer it to my computer. I have a tape with other Lambo stuff as well. Lambo movie clips from Rainman, Cannonball Run and the ENTIRE "It Takes Two" movie about the guy in Texas buying a Lambo kit car. LMAO! Thanks man.

"This is no special effect . . ." That line has stayed with me and endlessly repeated by me for the past 30 years.

Thank you for posting this! Whenever I hear "Lamborghini", I think of this video I recorded on Beta way back in 1987! The tape still exists somewhere at my folks house, but the Beta VCR is no longer in working order, so this was a great find!
