Too cheap of flooring can do that as well. I got the cheapest stuff at lowes called project source and that stuff is junk. Won’t go together easy at all and would chip easy when using the right tools. Some even came all ready chipped in the box. Took it back and got Allen Roth brand and it was so much better quality.

Yea it's always frustrating when it comes pre-damaged. I've had good luck with the cheaper stuff from Home Depot though.

I had an installer lay my laminate flooring in my mobile home like this. Immediately I have weak spots. He says he laid it the right way. Will it eventually come up or what will happen over time? Thanks

The seams line up every other board.. "H" is what it is called I believe..

I'd be careful with having heavy furniture on those spots or moving heavy furniture across them. Aside from that you may get a gap forming over time
