Time to catch up on all the recent Hot Wheels Premium releases, starting with the latest Fast & Furious. Quick Shifters is the name, and every car was driven by a female character. Let’s open these up and have a look.
S200 - Suki (2Fast 2Furious) R33 - I don’t know their names, but this car was owned by the girls Han drifted around in Tokyo Drift. Plymouth - Letty (Furious 6) Corvette - Letty (F8 of the furious) NSX - Mia (Fast Five)
Only a tad disappointed with the S2000 though, it’s a beautiful casting but they should have tried sticking the recessed sunroof version that we see in the movies
@Sam the miata man True the Honda NSX is another beautiful casting. Would love to see it appear sometime later in the Japan Historic’s too! Love how the front lights are detailed giving it the impression of being those pop up types
One thing that I absolutely LOVE about this set is how they incorporated the design of Suki's LEGENDARY S2000 with the existing casting. In the movie, Suki's S2000 was roofless, and I just love that they added that little bit of artwork on the roof of the model so it would fit with the rest of the design. The rest of the artwork is SPOT ON as well! They really did a phenomenal job of recreating this movie car icon into an amazing Hot Wheels!
A brilliant assortment of cars, I like all the vehicles in this mix. My only ongoing complaint is the missing chrome on the wheels (of the R33 and NSX) when the card art clearly shows them chrome.
The NSX has been found with the 5 spoke wheels as well! I need both. This is up there for premium of the year for me. Ryu killed it with this casting. Oh and that Stingray is proper!! The classic red with the black wheels is just bad ass! Hope we get that in a Royal blue as well. The Cuda is amazing too. Would love to see that done in Car Culture with a neon green or orange

Can't wait to pick this set up when it hits stores! Super hype about all of these cars, especially Suki's S2k. Now all we need is Slapjack's Supra in premium to complete the first race
I am eagerly awaiting for these sets to release here in India. Sadly the Covid-19 situation has delayed the release of these sets and we are yet to see the Motor City Muscle release which is due to release this month. Hopefully the Quick Shifters gets released just in time for Christmas
Man I'll be straight, for a bit..I felt like I was burned out of Fast and Furious cars..but they produce some awesome castings..and lots of the cars just look fantastic. I really have to say, I enjoy them!
It is a little overwhelming these sets have been showing up so fast, just when I thought I have caught up another one has hit the shelves. I found a complete F&F set and three of the Thrill Climbers set.i believe the only ones I haven't seen yet is the latest boulevard, not to mention the two other series ,Replica Entertainment and Car Culture Power Trip.
Tell the HW team that the Cuda is waaayyy to small,they need a new bigger casting.Indeed the NSX was better if it had chrome wheels.Thanks for sharing Jhon!

It would be cool to see the gold Supra from 2 fast 2 furious, I mean the orange one is cool but I haven’t seen the gold one since it was released as a regular one.
These things are virtually never on the pegs near me. I finally just found the cuda. I was surprised to find it at Pepboys. Would love the corvette and NSX but not gonna pay inflated ebay prices.

Nice set. Unfortunately for me the Universal Studios TM and (c) printed on the body kinda ruins the Honda S2000... very sneaky of Mattel sticking that on the card side of the vehicle so you don't see it in the blister on the pegs.
I could be wrong but when jordanna Brewster is driving the nsx r in the movie it was left hand drive. Was it a nsx r converted to left hand drive 🤔 Heck no, it was a acura nsx converted to look like a nsx r 😜
The NSX is a must have! I love everything about it, except... the wheels are just ok. Were they supposed to be silver (not chrome), cause they look gray. I'm on the fence with the Corvette and the other 3 are an easy pass. Hate the pink on the S2000. Hate the gaudy paint on the GT-R. This is F&F I supponse, so whatta ya gonna do? The Cuda looks nice enough, just not what I collect.
I I’ve how the r33 in Tokyo drift literally got. NO screen time but heaps of people love and replicate this car. Same thing with the Black r32 in fast that had like 5s of screen time
Not gonna lie, the grey wheels on the NSX-R are a real dissapointment, with chromed wheels it would looks a million times better. Now the variation with the new 5 spokes on the other hand, I don't mind the grey there.
cuda was from Furious 7...not 6....but then again Hot Wheels don't care...as with the offroad Camaro which is a 68 in the Movie but labelled as a 67 offroad camaro on the card (same with the all terrain camaro)...but it actually IS a 68
