This set is pretty fantastic! n btw, Never once in my life have i ever seen hotwheels "on sale" or discounted. You always seem to be INSANELY lucky with good finds, i hit about half a dozen stores 4-5days a week consistantly and i have real trouble just FINDING the premium cars let alone multiples on the pegs... and discounted at that. Of course i can get them 2nd hand for +5x the price 🙄🤬 LOL

I like a lot the modern classics. My set of 5 is already on its way. At first I didn't like the Hello Kitty tampos, but now I find it quite nice and different to what we are used to see :) Nice vide as always :)

The 22B is my favorite. They finally got it right with the tail lights, added the STi stickers on the fog lights, and added the side badge and decals. They should have went with the gold six spokes instead of the current ones but no biggie.

Oh I love that classic Mercedes. I was also excited when the 190 came out.

Decent mix. The Mercedes looks amazing (although a bit too slammed for my taste). The Jetta is very cool too. The Siliva is decent but I'd prefer seeing some alloys rather than black rims. The Honda could use a different livery. The subaru is nice but let down by the terrible rims. Those flower rims are one of the worst real riders. I think the mainline looks better.

Still waiting on this set to drop locally (no pun intended). I do have the Hello Kitty EG and 22B STI already though. Absolutely stellar set and my daughter loves the Hello Kitty, will have to do a showcase vid as well. Great work as always, Mr Lamley.

I would love for Hot Wheels to do a 70s or 80s Cadillac Fleetwood or Deville to go with the Mercedes

Your comment on using the F&F castings later is gold. We got the 2016 STi from that as well, happy camper here. The Jetta is hot like you said and the Honda is too. All fire. I really cannot wait to get some 22B's from this series though, then the Honda and Jetta.

The 22B was also released in Dark metallic red in Basic, looks great with full tampos as well, different wheels though, they are a 5 spoke gold on the red basic version

I’m new to hot wheels and was wondering if the codes he shows on the back of the card are what shows on the boxes?

The Datsun 510 sedan from Hotwheel is one of my favorites. The only thing I have a issue with is that the 510 sedan because of the round marker light on the Quarter panel. The 1971 510 did not have a round marker light. Ther marker light's on the car are rectangles. I would like to see the year of the car correction or a proper marker light on the hotwheels 510.

It is a fantastic set sir, I am going to buy a case because they are going to be hard to find. I say it was the Mercedes that hit the floor. Not so sure about the laced Wheels on the 22b, but i do like it.

This set arrived in my mailbox today, and it’s sweet. (Although, I still don’t get why they did the Hello Kitty deco, or any deco, on the Civic when the rest of the set is so clean.) The Thrill Climbers are still my favorite Car Culture set of 2020, though.

You asked about other colors on the 22b, it was also done in a burgundy red with gold wheels

for me the THRILL CLIMBERS series is the best so far and for casting it is the mercedes 280 sel

I agree that it's a great set. I just got mine in, and can't get over the quality of the Benz. I think the only thing that could have made it better would have been a truck. Maybe the Hardbody or a C-10...

One of my next door neighbors literally has the Subaru Impreza WRX STI in real life, though, sadly, not as in good of a shape as the Hot Wheels car. I honestly should talk to him and see if I can be a good neighbor and help him fix his car up right. Between a 100 acre scrap/junk yard, and some businesses that specialize in JDM and aftermarket parts, maybe some more junk/scrap yards, and the online website of Subaru, as well as its local retailers, I am bound to find some parts to have his ride upgraded to custom showroom perfection.

That 72 Mercedes is my favorite. I bet it gets crazy expensive on ebay.
