Great set, my favorites are the blue BMW M3 E46, Audi S4 Quattro and the Mercedes 300 SEL 6.8 AMG. 3 out of 5, the other two are nice too. Thanks for the showcase.
Awesome car culture set you got, you open up, and you reviewed congrats.👍 They're all my favorites.👍 I will be on the hunt for all 5 of those and I can't wait to add all 5 of those to my hot wheels collection.👍
This is a Very Cool set!! We are missing out in Canada on a lot of Premium sets yet I found these a couple of weeks ago. I'm thrilled to have them and found a second AMG Mercedes!!! Thanks John👍✌🇨🇦 Still waiting for the Fast Wagons.
@JC Martell I'm in B.C. and we got both sets at Walmart. There are 2 stores where I live but only one got a couple boxes of the newest Boulevard series and that was it. My local Walmart only got the first Boulevard. There's a dozen Bone Shakers still on the pegs.
Just found them at Target but someone took all the VW buses. Still bought the 4 they had. Love this set and most of their premium sets lately. Also picked up the van set but again, can't find the VW bus on those either.
Yea definetly gotta watch out when we looking for these cause the audi and bmw almost look alike but definetly getting the audi and bmw for my collection
I love the Audi and I love the Mercedes!!! Especially the Mercedes, all the tampos and and the sweet 5 spoke rims, chrome front grill...the “Red Pig” Rulz!!!
I need the t1 i don't even collect VW. Simply off the fact its an actual car design and it can be added to my porsche collection. It just needs white bumpers :)
It's a nice attempt to simplify the model, but there's definitely still a lot of room for improvement on that 959. They just need to make those wheels smaller and have them fill out the arches a little better (The axles seem a few millimetres short). Following those fixes, would love to see this model then in the classic Porsche silver with the Aerodisc wheels. Otherwise love all the others in this set!
I would like to say something. I love hotwheels and my affinity for them has grown considerably with the specialty car series with real riders. I am partial to American muscle but I collect JDM and other exotics. My biggest complaint it that Hotweels spends a great deal of time with tampons etc. i wish that the real rider cars would always have REALISTIC TREADs on the appropriate cars. SLICKS are for racing. Treaded tired should be on all street cars. Just something that always bothers me when I pick up a great find only to be disappointed in the tires. It is a major detail of any car so Hotwheels should always be selecting the right tire treads as well.
Here's where the 959 gets really interesting - it is based on an actual one-off car, which you can see at the link below. Love that they made a car culture off a real one-off! www.classicdriver.com/en/article/cars/paris-dakar-rally-porsche-959-a-whiteout-wonder
I like the "Red Sow" (not pig) they are viewed as funny and good luck in Deutschland. America uses pig/sow as a bad thing, but in Germany it's the opposite. I love that one. 👍
HW and MB are releasing beautiful designs. But, I think it’s time they switched to a “true 64” scale format. My 9 year old son appreciates the scale harmony between his (few) Greenlight cars. He wishes the 1 dollar car, too, would be true to scale.
