I needed to catch up on some of the latest Mini GT and Kaido House for some upcoming features, so why not open them together? Find these at JCardiecast: www.jcardiecas...
Mini GT is just the bomb. I can't count how many people I know that have stopped collecting other brands for Mini GT. Fantastic brand and thanks for the awesome unboxing video John.
If I was to focus on one brand, and one brand only, due to space constraints or budget or whatever, it would be MiniGT right now. The quality is right. The price is right. The selection is right. 10 years ago, i would have said Kyosho. MiniGT is their worthy successor.
@@bearabletable7527 better than early Kyoshos, yes. But later Miniature Car Collection series were no slouches. And the Beads Collection series was on par with MiniGT.
Kaido House got me into Mini GT and I'm devoting a bit more of my diecast budget from HW to Mini GT. I also bought my first Pop Race and was pretty blown away by it. The R33 400R in red is a real stunner.
You’re absolutely wild for that Valkyrie comment. lol I’m with you on the hyper car being too extreme at times. But the tech behind the Valkyrie and the development history is super interesting.
Hot Wheels (and Matchbox) has its place, the Basic, Silver and Gold (Basic, Opening Parts and Collectors) lines are a good value. Their production and business model falls apart in the Ultra Premium realm. Imo, they need to go ahead and just drop the RLC/Elite 64/Creations, as they're going to be pretty much forced out anyway.
Just a reminder that when you roll a car back and forth to "show" how nice they roll; well just realize that only YOU can feel in your hand how easy or difficultly it's rolling. Right? The best is when you give it a push and let it roll without your hand on it. THAT gives us a better idea of how nicely (or not so much) it rolls. Thanks. Nice collection here. I am definitely one of those guys migrating more towards the super accurate detailing.
My favs: The Cadillacs V Series and the Orange NSX! Liked the video, didn't like you talking tired it make it look like you were bored... morning video with a coffee would be better! lots of energy! Big hugs!
I’ve been straying myself more and more from hot wheels and going for other brands, mini gt is one of my favorites by far, the only thing is I wish they had more models to chose from.
nah. the new rumoured AE86 will be big. E30 is just laying low right since it's still in P.O days. it will be big but not big as R34, Nsx type of big in term of value.
I love how the IMSA Cadillacs look, and they're doing the Lamborghini SC63 soon! I wish they made the Ferrari 499p and Peugeot 9X8, there's just something to these new hypercars, making me want to collect them all
Love the Porsche 901 and of course the 911. I really wish there was a local store here that stocked this product. I can only find it online and honestly, I just don’t like buying things online. Especially when it’s under $10.
Trust me, you don’t wanna local store that sells these brands, we had one in town, and the dude was freaking pricey, plus tax And then he wonders why he went out of business, lol at first, we were all hyped up about it, but price wise it was outrageous
Collect better brands people!! The sooner you ditch the cheaper cars, the happier you will be with your collection. Don't be a slave to Mattel and let them hold you hostage!!
HWs and MB (even Johnny Lightning, M2 and AW) have their place. Its just that their place isn't in the Ultra Premium market. Absolutely buy a better brand if the person is willing and able to spend $20(usd) and up per model.
@@imthewitch8355 yeah we had a business here in San Antonio, that tried to display them, loose, that didn’t go well for them at all with those particular brands
@@blinddiecast yup for me this diecast are either stay in the box or display in a clear case with some sticky thing to make sure it does not move, one drop and it already got paint chip
