One good thing I like about Lamzu is they seem to be really transparent with the community, and often ask for feedback on what people would prefer as they develop new mice. This is something I think you just don't get with big brands such as Logitech/Razer.
Sir i just want to say thank you , you really help me to find the right mouse for my hands ! now i use lamzu mini and this is what i want it for long time. Wish your channel going big !
I love the fact you can appreciate the Atlantis (Mini). Got the V1 mini because it's a smaller mouse and has a nice colourway. I only use it for gaming on Xbox (I know I need a PC also) and from a beginner to where I am now with Key/Mouse is like day/night difference. I also use the Xtrfy M42RGB that swapped my Steelseries Rival 3 and that one is a good one also (but I get vexed with cables so it's my Mac mouse now).
Dude your the man wa 509 I Iv been use ur mouse as my main for at least 2 years and it’s amazing for real it’s like I made it for my hand it’s lovely so thank u for that Your mousepad is one of a kind and I love it just wish it was bigger with thinner stitching but it’s all love thank you
Lamzu doing amazing things you forgot to mention VALUE - I love Ninjutso, Lamzu AND EGG - love the fact EGG did the XM2we for people who don't have their heads in the clouds... Or just money to burn for nothing.
Did you get to try the Viper Mini Signature Edition? I have been using a perfect copy since launch and testing mice in between but this thing is just too good and will probably be a very long time before I find something I would replace it with, its just too good.
great video as always! are you going to review the newly released NP-01s from Vaxee? And is there a chance you can spread the news if there are going to be MZ1 reworks, soon?
been loving my wired mz1 and looking into lamzu/pulsar for a proper wireless mouse. But I have to ask, will the MZ1 wireless get a more "pro" refresh? Something like solid top shell, no rgb, potential 4k hz polling rate, and ~50 grams weight? I love the shape a lot and would like to see a more serious wireless version.
Maybe optical switch too? I had to change out the Mouse1 switch less than a month of use from double clicking.. I'd get a refreshed model with just those changes though.
Love my Atlantis OG V2, got it a few months ago. Previously I was using the Starlight Phantom and came away unimpressed with the shape and build quality. Long time Logitech G400S/G9/G900 user so the shape feels familiar to my grip while being nice and light. Still interested in the Sora though 🤔
I have the OG one, and been using it for a week now, i really like it, but gonna try the Xtrfy M8 too. It remembers me to my old G403 what i loved, so so far so good. Will se how the M8 feels, and then decide if i stick with the MZ1 as my main or pick from the other 2
I hate how so many mice are wider at the front than in the middle. This alone makes my aim so bad and also it's uncomfortable. I liked Sora but hump was way too big and too far back. I like Xtrfy M8 but can't pick it up without my grip changing because of flat sides. Currently there is no mouse that wouldn't have shape feature that bother me. Lamzu MAYA is the thing I'm looking for, centered hump, same grip width and front width, slanted sides, unfortunetly It isn't out yet :( I'm so sad I can't find mouse shape that wouldn't bother me in any way. I've tried so many mice and yes I used them for more than 2 weeks. Thank You for reading my cry...
@@commandertoothpick8284 Ive tried g102, sides are ok but still butt is too big for me. Orochi and Aria are too wide, they are above 6cm grip width, I have to have 5.5 to 5.7 max to be able to reach my potential in aim. Ive tried Haste which overall would be good shape for me but this 6.1 cm grip width made me unable to aim properly. I'll keep on using Rival 3 until Lamzu maya comes out.
I don't if this has already been done, but I had an strang-ish idea. Have you thought about testing out a handmade mouse? What I mean is gut the interiors of a decent gaming mouse and put it in a diy cardboard shape. I'm honestly curious if its even doable. I feel like that could be a really cool video😂
Great review as always! Also, would you think about reviewing the chinese mice, which are growing in popularity? Some examples are Ajazz AJ199, Darmoshark M3 and N3, Delux M800. I think they are great for budget gamers or gamers from third world countries, where the top of line mice cost almost the same as minimum wage.
@@willgt911 I picked the lamzu maya which was the best decision i ever made, it’s lighter and has better shape for my relaxed claw, i chose the 4k dongle
No matter how good the shape is, the lack of a top button is a dealbreaker for me. And unfortunately there seems to be a trend of lightweight mice without top buttons (MZ1 excluded).
@@p0kel I didn't use that button to begin with, and it took a conscious effort of binding keys to it. But nowadays I always have something bound to it. It really depends whether the games you play have a lot of keybinds. Additionally, the accessibility of that button really depends on your grip style and the kind of games you play. I use fingertip so the button is much closer to my finger than someone who uses palm grip, meaning I can press that button faster and return my finger to the mouse 1 button faster.
Atlantis mini and Haste v1 wired (bought cause of RJN review and site advice) are my favourites for the 19x10 and claw-fingertip hybrid. Worth to mention - skates on Atlantis are fast, currently i prefer to use it on a slow pad, cause on medium its a bit too fast.
@@Seeeesh-q5q is personal. So anyone preference is personal to them. I cannot talk about the Atlantis because I've never tried but Zy addresses the differences between the mouses he reviews VS the one he designed/co-developed with xtrfy. You can decide using your own judgement. Depends in so many factors. They are different. My previous comment was because you were asking the youtuber/mz1 developer if he prefer the mouse he designed himself or the atlantis when in the video is mentioned his positon due to business contract, naturally and logically.
Will you elaborate on your claim that light-weight mice are better on control pads in a future yt video? As many know, speed pads and light-weight small mice are all the rage in aim enthusiast communities so I'm curious to hear your thoughts!
I'm still trying to catch up with other reviews and they didn't have any review units in Australia, so ... yeah one day. It's probably not that big a deal because it's not aimed at "our" market as such and it's still the same shape right? So I'd just be giving opinions about other stuff to make the video worth watching, but I can put those opinions out in different ways. I'll try to get one for the sake of putting it on the Top Mice list, but I'm not super interested in doing the review because it's same old same old, just an updated Viper Mini, from what I've heard/seen.
On Steam, Quake Live - Clan Arena. We're also getting it in Quake Champions at some stage, so keep an eye on that too (the 1v1 mode, big Clan Arena is already in there but seems rarely played).
Hi you should test asus ROG Harpe ace - imo very good mouse i was using logitech superlight x and just after warranty (2y) double click started... so logitech i baned in my eyes:D
Wondering if people care how long their mouse lasts. I don't care how comfortable it is if I can't use it. I think since you aren't doing technical reviews anymore, you have the opportunity to start doing durability and longevity tests. I have never heard of this company, they could be using the worst, cheapest components with the worst engineering as far as I know.
wait.... you say "i've never had to replace feet on soft pads". what the hell. you must not use a mouse for more then a year straight? or you just don't put it many gaming hours? i'm not sure what your reason for saying this is but every single mouse needs replacement feet at some point (usually atleast once a year, even when used on a soft pad). i'm just so surprised that a well known guy in the gaming mouse community like you would say something like that, like you know your shit. but damn, NEVER replacing mouse feet? that's just crazy.
You need to replace feet when using cloth pads? Why? What cloth pad are you using exactly? And what feet/mouse? I've mostly used this MZ1 Wireless for 2000 hours of Apex in the last year and yeah the feet are still perfect. Cloth shouldn't be wearing feet out, unless it's a hybrid and has some hard elements in there.
@@RocketJumpNinja i personally use the fnatic dash cloth pad. I guess your mouse pad must be really soft if your skates are still fine. I have had skates wear to the point that plastic housing will start scraping on the pad. In my experience though stock feet usually are thinner and wear out faster then the replacements you buy from aftermarket brands. So after like 6 months of use i usually switch stock skates to aftermarket ones. And then the after market ones last like a year cause they are thicker. I can guarantee you that most gaming mice enthusiasts change their mouse feet on a regular basis, ptfe feet will always wear down even on the softest pad there will be wear and they will get thinner and thinner over time.
I barely tested the Dash, didn't seem like a good material to me. I'm still using the Xtrfy GPZ1 ... they sent me a heap of materials and I chose the one I aimed best on, so the GPZ1 is Gaming Pad Zy 1, my official one, which is a really soft fabric. It's a control fabric too, I know people are going speed these days but with mice so light, I would actually prefer the control in the pad. Just letting you know that as a warning in case you do buy one some day ... be ready for control, most likely much more than the Dash. But yeah on this one, no issue! Then again, before this I was using that Cooler Master pad, MP510 I think? and before that, Cooler Master Swift, Razer Goliathus, Razer Mantis ... memory getting hazy, but point is, I've rarely used hard pads or anything that could wear out feet, even the Zowie hybrid pad made me nervous so I only used it for a week, so I've never had to replace feet, because I've been so aware of what the materials could be doing to the feet.
@@RocketJumpNinja i just dont take good enough care of my mousepads to justify buying an actual quality one. I know i'll get food on it, spill drinks on it. My fnatic dash ive had for years and i dont really treat it with respect 😆
Yeah. It's a good thing though, when you don't have much to say about a mouse, it just means you can't find anything to complain about. Seems pretty good to me, and at a pretty reasonable price compared to other top mice.
@@SaltyMaud For me it would be terrible because the shape is concave towards the middle making claw grip uncomfortable and it has no programmable buttons on it. Couldn't care less if a mouse is lightweight.
@@potapotapotapotapotapota I definitely appreciate lightweight mice, but ambi is not my shape either. Still happy to see Lamzu can make competent mice, makes me excited for thorn, seems like a potentially interesting shape for me.
