@@Babybel845 I used to listen to them a bit when I was younger, couple of nice ones but overall didn't really do it for me. Their song that was used in that movie The Mist (Stephen King) was epic though. Host of seraphim or something like that from memory? Thanks though. I might try them again and see
Can we, fans or haters, please just acknowledge Lana's ability to be such a powerful force in music despite receiving no radio play, almost zero public exposure, and doing minimal promotion? What other artist can sell 10 million albums in 4 years without the support of the mainstream? She's so relevant and she's not even trying to sound generic. She's phenomenal.
U listen to lizzo lana Del Rey the neighbourhood Same But Lana Del Rey The Neighbourhood Arctic Monkeys Lizzo Nicki Minaj Cigarettes after Sex (somewhat)
I fucking love that this song is the female gaze on male. Soft grunge shows that this is all about Lana’s pleasure. And I think her music is literally her music and she playing guitar and singing to them or herself and writing the lyrics down. It’s sooooo feminine and so sexy I love it
This song is amazing special when I hear it at 2am and every body is sleeping and there is no noise it's make me feel the moments in my life that I lost it and never be back again
LANNNNNAAAAA YOU GOT A BOY FUCKED UP ONCE AGAIN...... THE MAKEUP, THE CLOSEUPS, THE EVERYTHING. SUCH A MASTERPIECE. I HAVE THE SUDDEN URGE TO FILM MYSELF UNDERWATER EVEN THO I WON'TL OOK AS MAGESTIC AS YOU AND UR CREW. ps chuck you looking angelic
I love how underrated her music is. Music now a days is terribly overplayed on the radio but Lana is under the radar AND relevant regardless. Her music is not for everybody; people always complain how she's "boring" but I beg to differ, her tone and lyrics speaks for itself. She's truly talented, different and overlooked. Love you Lana 😘
+MrDelRey No, theres no need to kill here. Ms. Del Rey knows the harshness of strangers as well as she knows kindness. We fans should not invest our time in people who know nothing of our beloved star. The true fans of Lana know deep in their hearts who Lana really is and there's nothing for us or her to prove. I know it is quite annoying there are ones who are very ignorant, but at the end of the day it is our happiness that shows our stance in life and maturity. But I am more than certain Lana appreciates those who defend her, but she knows who she is too. An amazing and wise singer that has nothing left to prove. Im glad you see that as well
+Sir Nicodemus how isn't she ? Her music is a lot different than all the bullshit I hear on the radio. I personally love how most of her songs are slow and soothing, something I can relax to and not hear "hoe" & "pussy" in each and every verse. Next 😴
She smiles in Summertime Sadness and even a growl. In National Anthem, she's practically smiling every 10 seconds. And UltraViolence as well. However, I would agree her smiling in this MV is freaking adorable.
the reverbed sighing, layered vocals, melodic flute - mixed with seemingly simple lyrics about female desire, giving it a desperate, longing touch - all of it. the entire song is a masterpiece. extremely underrated song by Lana.
Her music isn't main stream. There is a correlation between people who love BTD but hate her new stuff. Personally, I love her new music more. It is deeper, more mature and more personal. It is different and most people will not like it. She is not pop, she is more Indie with elements from an array of genres. I loved Honeymoon but UV is my favorite. I loved the rock elements and lyrics. The main reason I listen to Lana is because of the experience you get from her. You don't get mass produced songs from her you get quality and aura. Anyway, it is my opinion. I just don't like seeing constant comments about how Lana should make more of her older stuff. Why would anyone want an artist to regress? I feel like people can't realize that this is Lana now. BTW I want a tour! End of my rant.
+Ana G Exactly. I love the way she evolved musically. Many can't see that and say her BTD was her best music but it was so mainstream and did not have a lot of depth (It was still good though). I have learned more about Lana and received more emotion from her later eras. Lana has even received more praise for her newer albums than her first. I don't know I just want people to stop complaining and enjoy her music. If you cannot that is fine but don't nag every minute. Miley Cyrus sure didn't go back to her old days because she evolved and so did Lana.
I don't get people who says that BTD is better than Ultraviolence, the album that made me fall in love with her in the first place. I mean UV had a few flaws, but it's miles better than BTD to my ears. I wouldn't say that I dislike BTD, but the album honestly gets pretty annoying if I play the album back to back. I like only pretty much 2 songs from it, but the rest kind of... throws me off, for some reason. I absolutely adore Ultraviolence, the production's way better, it's a lot more personal, and feels like a neater, cohesive piece altogether. Honeymoon felt like a maturation of Ultraviolence, but dropped the guitars. I miss the guitars and acoustic feel though, Dan Auerbach really brought a lot in Ultraviolence, wish she'd bring his style back in the next one.
+Arianah Keten I love that comment!; btw I think it's okay from some people to like btd and dislike honeymoon. Lana said she hasn't change much from btd era than now; just that she wanted to try a much more dreamier production (it's not my case, and I also think Ultraviolence is not just one of her best records but in my 17 years-old life, it's melancholic, beautiful and magnificently enigmatic) Lana was Lizzy Grant, was BTD, Paradise, UV, Honeymoon and will keep being her.
The things that are mainstream are things that don't really make you emotional or anything. It designed to just get you stimulated enough so you don't get bored. This doesn't apply to everything in mainstream though. The Weeknd is amazing.
@@anchorofthenightsky i Never Said she isn’t mainstream I said she isn’t recognised enough, as in when compared to other mainstream artists. Learn to read.
@@GigaChaadam dude she is the 66th artist on spotify and was the most listened artist in a lot of the daily charts and stuff and every fucking teenager listens to her and she has her songs trending on fucking tiktok, 40 mln listeners a month isn't that small too yk

This song is honestly soo underrated, i think if this was the lead single, then Freak and then Salvatore everybody would have appreciated the album at realease date
It would be sooo cool if you could listen to my cover of 'Heroin' by Lana Del Rey ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HII4tLj7sz0.html 😊💕 thankyou!
same era. people use the term era to define a period of time generally ranging through multiple generations. Born to Die came our 4 years ago aka yesterday
Maybe because Born to Die era had plenty of variety where the last two albums 95% of the album all sound the same. Don't get me wrong I like her but you could fall asleep and wake up and feel like you're on the same song. Born to die had plenty of songs that sounded different from each other
Honeymoon holds a really special place in my blue heart, takes me back to screaming every lyric with my cousin Janessa, who has sadly passed, but anytime I hear this album or ride, I have a big smile ear to ear, maybe alittle bit of happy tears!! Thank you Lana for everything you do!! One day I will get to see ya live! I almost came to the NFR concert back at the criterion in Oklahoma but didn’t have my Lana bestie (Janessa) to come with me, so sadly I didn’t get to make it.. I know one day I’ll finally get to see you live and I’m sure Nessa will be there right next to me in spirit!💙💙
+Barby Arce ikr? she is awesome she has an amazing voice and she is very beautiful, i had a chance to met her days ago we hangout together and we go some pics sh.st/bos59 when we truy to get pics she kissed me on cheek haha i was so happy..
You want to be sad? Ultraviolence You want to be high? Honeymoon You want to be happy? Lust 4 Life You want to be nostalgic? COCC You want to be hot? BTD You want to be in love? NFR You want to forget him/her? BB
Swear that all her songs makes me picture myself inside a movie, she paints these nostalgic, hypnotic and kinda heavenly vibes, like my body is deeply interlinked with my feelings and thoughts, she's a true artist that's what she is.
I just started college and there's so many hot guys, yesterday I was at lunchtime alone and while I was drinking my apples juice I was watching to the boys playing basketball, you guys have to do it.
Lana is a masterpiece with the perfect balance to everything. She seems awkward but sexy at the same time.Confident but not cocky at all.Beautiful & loved with so much success yet so humble.I love this video from beginning to end.It takes a special person to get Lana but when u get her,it's the sweetest sound u could ever hear.I love this woman😊

This video better win some awards because *DAMN* It's the most beautiful music video I've ever seen! Absolutely gorgeous. You've out done yourself once again, Lana.
+Kings Fobos Lana always gets snubbed by the awarding bodies. In some ways I dont get it because her music is so fresh and creative, but on the other hand I kinda like that shes not winning a bunch of awards like T. Swift and Adele. Because a lot of times with that "grammy/mtv" notoriety, talented artists like Lana have become products of corporations and more pressured to please the masses, and less likely to create the provoking, sometimes controversial material they were originally known for.
I feel the same exact way. I too like that she's massive yet almost secretly so. Like an underground nation with its rightful queen. Nice examples btw, love both T Swift and Adele (Adele is my god soo yuh). PS: if you haven't seen Adele's Hello, you must.
Lana del Rey is one of the most sexy singer ever. A real "femme fatale" with a catchy melanchonic-languid voice. She's unique in the pop music scene. A beautiful video too: high class work !
+ Davis: "Pop" means nothing more than "popular" music . Even if her style is something of classic "retrò", it's alwyas only popular muisc. We obviously can't classify her under classical music, nevertheless Jazz or Blues or something what of specific
In reality her genre is not new at all - it's like a romantic swing which belongs to the 40 ties - 60 ties . A sort of Bobby Vinton's style: slow romantic-pop like "Blue Velvet". Anyway vintage music: that said it's nowadays very precious because of the postmodern trivial crap "music" allover we can hardly qualify as real "music" ! Therefore Lana del Rey's reaction was and is absolutely necessary !

When I am listening Lana's songs first time I d'ont understand it.But when I'm listaning it second-third time I feel that I love it. Lana Del Rey-always the best.
I swear this many years on ....and this song for me is *still* like daydreaming personified in music. It's got this creamy dreamy vibe that is flawless, unlike anything else. It's just 🤌 to me.
