asap sadly doesn't have a verse on this song, he said he just wanted to be in the video because he had a crush on her lol she does does have songs she's done with him though! "summer bummer" "groupie love" and the unreleased song "ridin", which is my personal fave and i'm bummed asap decided not to release it just because he was upset it got leaked before it was finished. you can tell even from the demo the full song would've been fire.

Lana vapes nowadays but she'll never let go of her tobacco. Considering her past vices, smoking 🚬 is pretty tame. She was sent to rehab for alcoholism at the age of 15 and she partook in other heavier drugs. Themes about drugs, alcoholism, toxic relationships are layered within her music. Asap Rocky specifically represents JFK while Lana plays both Marylin Monroe (In the Beginning) and Jacqueline Kennedy. The overall concept revolves around the love JFK had for these two distinct lovers while simultaneously providing social commentary.

I remember during this time a lot of people in the hip hop industry loved Lana. She was in peoples studio sessions she was just doing he thing and was a nice person and people spoke very nicely about her

A long time ago, in the 1960’s, the President of the United States of America was John F Kennedy. His wife, the First Lady, was Jackie Onassis. At that time, there was a famous actress named Marilyn Monroe, who was the biggest sex symbol of the moment (and to this day). Marilyn & JFK we’re having an affair and she sang Happy Birthday to him, which was televised. JFK was later assassinated while he was driving in a parade, next to his wife. Lana uses that storyline in this video & plays both the parts of Marylin & Jackie O.
