Great Book, Lance looks to be a proud Loud, I like that he helped advertize this family book, and made it funny too. I own a copy, and it is awesome book. I am a proud Loud descendant.
my grandma was a loud i have that book, i have the same great great grandfather william fairchild loud but i never saw this series or any of these clips till now. roots!
I was born a loud 1959 West London , loud roots way back to Devon southern England . I also have southern Irish and Scottish roots along with a few other mixed genes 😀.
Lance was very handsome at this stage of his life. Even when he was wearing lipstick and barrettes he seemed very much a man to me. He did more living in his 50 years than most people do in 100.
@sohooded Poor guy because of how he died, not to mention that some of the choices he made were directly connected to his crazy family life. Just because someone makes poor choices doesn't mean they deserve to die. I understand not being completely surprised by it, but don't you think you're being a bit harsh?
@Snotra Why poor guy?. I liked Lance but recognize that with his outrageous lifestyle, and poor choices,he lost his life, and broke the hearts of his family.
@sohooded Sorry Snotra. Perhaps this day 8 months ago I was in a less compassionate frame of mind. But, today I still believe that we must all take responsibility for the choices we make. Sadly for Lance it was his life he lost. I'm not preaching. I came from a horrendously challenging background and also made many mistakes. I feel sad for Lance, but he had to know that all those years of drug use and unprotected sex was going to catch up with him. A spirited moth to the flame.
It seems like most of us didn't want to speak ill of the dead. I'd rather remember him as the handsome, creative unique human that I love watching on TV & with Warhol. Let's not be judgemental of a dead man who tried to be kind to everyone when he was alive. Please.
